hello!

I wanted to thank anyone who said a prayer for my son yesterday. He had his surgery yesterday morning. After waiting over a year for him to be old enough it is finally done. He did great. During surgery they had to give him meds to open up his airway due to breathing difficulties. I am just so happy to get his surgery done and in 3 weeks my daughter will be having her surgery. I needed that peace of mind before I have mine. I am so happy to find that this sight excists. It is really nice to know that there are people out there willing to share their stories. Mine is just beginning. Shawn S sent me here. She says that you are all a great bunch. Thanks again. -Heather

Dear Heather, So glad the little guy made it through everything alright and is on the road to a speedy recovery....one down, two to go!!! Hey Shawn, You know you may be more loved here than you think. I have found that out in the few days I have gotten on here with everyone. I am sooooo excited for you. Tomorrow the BIG day. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers as well as most of this board. Let me know how you are doing once you get a chance. Heather....I'm so happy things went well with your son....We would love to pray for you daughter and you as well.....And I agree with you this site is wonderful....I was told about this site from my s-i-l.....She's been coming here for awhile only on a different board.....she is in hopes of getting surgery one day too...but at the moment it's an insurance thing keeping her from having it ........
