Carol I am so sorry that your not feeling well and that your having some problems with your pouch. We just talked about this at the COF meeting tonight in Springfield. Please email Claudette she was helping one of the ladies at the meeting tonight that kind of had the same problems. Maybe she can point you in the right direction!!! God Bless Mel

I've ask you if you'd like to meet been's we live pretty close toeach other.I just thought it might help each of us to get to know one another. Then it's easier if you have people around to talk to.I just thought it would be nice to meet.I didn't mean to offend you by asking.Anyway good luck.

Carol, Try to really analyze if it is actual stomache growling hunger or head hunger. If you are hungry try drinking a glass of water or low calorie beverage before you eat something. If you do eat something ,make it high protien, low carb. It goes back to following the rules that we cling to a new post-ops. I know I've read the sayin ( and I may not get it perfect) "the first months after surgery it's 90% surgery and 10% us and after that it's 90%us and 10%surgery. Ok I know someone else knows that actual saying and please correct me but you get the idea. This is a tool not a magic cure. I am so glad you posted. There are lots of people further post op than me that can give you more tips as to what they do to combat this issue. There is nothing wrong with you on the sugar thing. Soem people just have no problems with sugar. How far post op are you? 130lbs. is AWESOME ! Focus on that incredible achievment. I see that we are neighbors. I live in Joplin. My surgeon Dr.Gorospe may be getting a support group meeting together here and have an office here once a week. That would be great for us. Who did your surgery? Well keep your chin up and have faith in yourself. You have already shown the strength to lose 130lbs. You can overcome this obstacle too. Dannielle
