Hi Casey! Thanks for asking about me, yep I'm doing just fine!
There isn't much to do right after surgery but sleep and get better - which I'm doing plenty of. I am starting to get a bit more energy this week (which is Great!) but I still tire so easily.
I suppose my case is a bit different than most on here cause before the surgery I was in a wheel chair MOST of the time - now - IF I have much walking to do, I'll still take my chair - but I'd rather walk, Soon I'm hopeing to be able to Walk everywhere instead of wheel, ya know? Always hopeful Always Hopeful.
I'll watch over you and see how long it takes you to go from point A to point B to WLS!!!! Mine took some time, I went to my first Seminar the first part of September. Then they called and told me to make anppointment for Dec 6th to see the Dr.
So I had from Sept to Dec to get all my medical records together, and proof of my weight loss attempts (I had bottles of Redux and all the other stuff I took... I called all my Doc's and had them each write me a letter of recommendation plus a good friend of mine was a social worker so he wrote me a letter too. They seemed to work cause I had no worries when I went in to see the Dr. he said for sure I was a candidate for the RNY which is what I finally got on 3-9-07.
I'm still feeling great I tire easily but each day I'm getting better and better.
Thanks for lookin in on me, though!
