Hello, how are you? I wanted to let you know that a private insurance called and she in missouri. She called me and ask me if I needed insurance and I told her that no cuz no private insurance will cover what I needed. She then ask me, well what do you mean and I told her that Im a obesity woman and I was planning to have the wls. Then she said yeah they wont and I went to explain to her how bad I want it and she ask me if I had insurance now I told her no. She said can I call you back I'm ask someone that work wit her if they can do anything about helping me wit the cost. She call back in 30 mins and told me she had some good news that they can if its medical needed. They can pay some but not all and they will help me get ways to pay what they cant. She wants to come over tommorrow and go over everthing and show me the policy. So do you think that sounds cool? I dont know about insurance so if you get this today let me ok ttyl.

I'd be very very careful and READ EVERYTHING they give you especially any clauses concerning wls. Ask if you can keep the copy and think it over for a day or two and then let someone else you know who knows more about insurance read it and get their opinion. I hope it's as good as it sounds.. Maybe you can look them up on the web and find out more about them. Good luck, Hugs, Anna

I dont know anything about insurance but i would tell them i want to see all of it and to be able to keep the policy a day or so so you can read it over or get someone that really understands that mumbo jumbo to read it and tell you what they think. hope it works out for you. Oh I'd be REALLY leery of what they are offering you.... I'm one of those folks who's been "burned" by sweet talkin strangers who just wanted MY money - and it turned out their great deal was ME Paying Them... I got nothing but another bill I had to pay for a year until I could get out of it. REMEMBER : IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT PROBABLY IS. Please be very Careful... I wouldn't Sign anything... until I had someone else read it (or tell them that you need your attorney to look over it - see if that gets a rise out of them) I know you probably can't afford one - (I can't) bu****ch their face and see if you can see them flinch. Then have someone help you re-read every word. Please be careful. Pat B

I agree. Don't get in a big hurry. I know you want this surgery really bad but really take your time and read it all, fine print included. Have someone look it over if not just for a second set of eyes. That old saying if its too good to be true then its too good to be true. Ask alot of questions about what they reqire. What they want from you, price, cost, coverage. Do what Jan said and look them up on the internet to make sure they are not a fly by night company that will leave you hanging with bills. What is the name of the company? Maybe somone on here will know who they are. Shawn
