Joplin WLS GROUP

I need to know where the support group for the joplin area is located.I live in duenweg.I would like to join it.I had RNY almost 2yrs ago.But need the support.Please contact me if you would .I'd be so greatful. Carol

Carol As far as I know there isnt one in Joplin yet. Janet & I have been talking about looking into starting one. But there is an FANTASTIC one in springfield that we go to once a month. You will have to come sometime I am sure you would have a blast. Take Care Mel

It would be so wonderful if there were something in Joplin, maybe we could get something started! I am in Neosho! I am still to the VERY early stages of my journey, but all the oppertunities for support are important for all of us!! Amy

Hi Carol and Amy, Mel and I have seriously talked about starting a group. I have even gone as far as to talk to a pysciatrist about it. I would LOVE to have one closer that would allow the people in our area to come....If it hadnt been for the fact that these past 2 months have been the most hectic times ever-I think it would be done by now-we WILL look into it in the very near future and contact you both when we have information, ok?
