PRAYER REQUEST FOR TUESDAY....

GOOD MORING EVEYRONE...... If have something you would like prayer for feel free to post it. No requests are too big or too small !!! Although we come to find support and information dealing with issues in regaurds to WLS, there are still many things in life that give us reason to need other types of support. I have found everyone on this borad to be so very friendly, careing and supportive. What better support to lend a friend than to pray for them. May God Bless each of you..........Tammy H I would like to ask prayer for my family. They have been so supportive of me and so excited for me each time I have a WOW moment. And I went to the doctor today to get blood work done for Iron because they forgot to do it when they done my barriatric blood work. While I was there I talk to my doctor about some numbness I have been having in my left thigh. It is numb all the time but at times it starts burning. Not like fire exactly but more like someone put a ton of icy hot on it. She said it seems I may have a disk in my lower back starting to bulge and it's pressing on a nerve. I have a appt to go to RUSK Abilitaion when I go see Dr. Scott April 5th and she said they should be able to show me a few exercises that will help put the disk back. And then of course I have a better chance of it not getting any worse and even getting better once I start loosing more weight. I also have to track my blood pressure for another month and if it keeps jumping around like it has this month then I will have to have my BP med uped again. Then to top it all off I have also been keeping better track of my sugar. She informed me today I have finally reached border line with it. She's not going to do anything just yet since I have been doing well on loosing weight and then if all goes well I hope to have my WLS by the end of may or so. BUT if it doesn't get better I could end up having to take meds for that. Which is still possible weight loss or not because my mother and grandmother are diabetics. So as you can guess I could use all the prayers I can get. I'm on a journey to try and inprove my health and my life, I would really prefer to not have to go up on meds and start new ones nor to start having back problems. Before I go I would like to thank all of you for being so caring and supportive. I get some of the sweetest emails and answers to my posts. I'm really happy I found this site and got to met so many people that know where I'm coming from not only with the weight issues but with every day problems as well......HUGS & LOVE....Tammy H

Tammy Please pray that Janet & I have a safe trip to Columbia and back. And that we get good reports from both of our doctors. And that God keep us safe while were gone from our familys. Love ya Mel

Please keep my husband Dennis in your prayers. The doctor has put him on insulin because the 3 different medicine {pills} he was taking was not contolling his sugar. The insulin is a new one called Lantus. He started it Thursday and his sugar tests have been running around 280 to 300. They said it might take a few days to get in his system and he would have a some screwy blood sugar results. Also remember me for my fibromyalgia and arthritus, I've been in a lotta pain lately. And also my back with the DDD, I'm still going to physical therapy but the relief from the traction and stem unit is short lived. I am really in some major pain today! It has been drizziling rain here all morning and when it's like that my level of pain really increases. Thank you, and I will be praying for each of you. Brenda
