Mondays Prayer Requests....
Good Morning Missouri Friends......
Welcome to our new post...Please post your prayer requests so that everyone interested in praying for each other will know your needs. Remember your needs are never too small or too big.
With all the miles between each of us it is not always easy to support each other in many ways other than the support we can give each other threw our messages here.
What better support can we give than to pray for each other!
Please keep me in your prayers. I have done pretty good on my liquid protein diet but.......I've only been on it 3 weeks now and I'm finding myself arguing with me BIG time over certain foods. Tonight was one of those times. My son wanted breakfast for supper, he done most all of it himself but he can't make white gravy. So he begged me to make him some. I thougth what the heck I ate me a few thin slices of ham a bit ago and had one of my drinks so it wont bother me to do it. !!!!!! WRONG !!!!! Just as I was finishing up his gravy he pulled his BUTTERY biscuts out of the oven! I tried hard to walk away, but I was glued there lol lol..... I tried to reason with myself but I ended up telling myself that just one wouldn't hurt.... People I almost fainted when I stuck that bite in my mouth.....it tasted soooo good.....I had to leave the kitchen cause I knew I was in trouble !!!! I wanted soooooooo badly to pig out on that biscuts and gravy!!!!!!!!!!! So PLEASE pray that I can resist the temptation of foods that I don't need and the will power to do right even with the ok foods! I would appreciate it so much...........Thanks....Hugs & Love....Tammy H

Please keep my husband Dennis in your prayers. The doctor has put him on insulin because the 3 different medicine {pills} he was taking was not contolling his sugar. The insulin is a new one called Lantus. He started it Thursday and his sugar tests have been running around 280 to 300. They said it might take a few days to get in his system and he would have a some screwy blood sugar results.
Also remember me for my fibromyalgia and arthritus, I've been in a lotta pain lately. And also my back with the DDD, I'm still going to physical therapy but the relief from the traction and stem unit is short lived.
Thank you, and I will be praying for each of you.
Brenda
Good Morning everyone,
Tammy, you are in my prayers...Honey, its a process-and a learning one at that, trust me on that one! Dont sit and kick yourself for it-its done and over with, and at least you DIDNT sit and pig out....so just start over-new start, new day- you can do it. I cheated a couple of times on my liquid diet and so did everyone else I tt who was on it long term too! Its hard when we had to do it 4-5 times longer than the normal 2 weeks! I will pray for you! Love ya and keep your chin up-20# is such an awesome accomplishment!
Brenda, I will be praying for Dennis and for you-I am sorry you are both going through that! I have the same things wrong with me and I know that pain can just be unbearable at times, I hope you can find some long term relief and SOON!
Well, Mel and I will be leaving tomorrow morning for Columbia, please pray that we have a safe trip there and back and that everything on the home front is okay until we get back..with everything going on lately, I am almost nervous about not being home for 2 days! Thanks everyone.
I posted a long list of prayers yesterday-I am still praying for everyone on that list-but its almost 3 am and I am getting really exhausted again and think I may be sleeping while I am typing (LOL) so I am going to close for now. Please take care and know that even though a lot of us havent met-we are like family-we love one another and want whats best for everyone. God Bless everyone and see you soon. Love, Janet
Tammy,I'll be praying for you.I know how hard it is.Even after surgery.Cause I can eat anything now.I have trouble eating meat but anything else no problem. They say you can't eat sweets well girl I can.But I limit myself. But I sure wish I had never tried any.So I need your prayers too.But I still lose if I don't indulge.I had rny done almost 2 yrs ago.I've lost 130 pds.I'm glad it has come off slow.I feel great.God blessed me with a really good dr. and hospital.I had Dr. Pitts. at Boone hospital. They were great to me.Just know you have alot of people here who care. They are wonderful about helping you.I found so much help here were I could'nt anywhere else.
Just know we'll be praying for you.I don't get in here much but I really enjoy it when I do.God Bless you.

Tammy,
THAT is a battle WE ALL have and we ALL understand!!! If' it's not biscuits and gray, it's a oatmeal cookie, or chips or ice-cream or fried foods and the list goes on and on!! This is somethign that we need to pray for everyday..STRENGTH to stick to what is best for us to help us reach our ultimate goals. The key is to find alternatives that aren't so bad but when in the liquid diet phase it's ROUGH! I didn't have to do that per-op so I can only imagine. I FEEL FOR YOU and will pray for you.
My request, is for my daughter Makynna(she's 8). She was ill again this weekend. I'm taking her in this week for a f/u to the pneumonia but she's been nauseated, headache, tummy ache etc. all weekend.
Thanks! I love that we've started doing this!
