Good morning everyone. It is suppose to be up to 74 today. Can you believe that? That is really spring weather. I noticed yesterday that my Iris and my daylilies are all growing like crazy. It won't be long now till we have some color in the yard again. I spent most of yesterday transplanting almost 200 little seedlings into bigger pots so they can continue to grow. Their little roots were just wound round and round the things they were in. All sorts of flowers. I will sure have a lot of planting to do around the first of May. Lol My roses all have leaves on them now and the hollyhocks have grown some too. The clematis have leaves on them too. So spring is coming don't give up hope. I sat down yesterday with my flower bed plots I have grafted on some paper and tried to decide where I want what and how many of each thing I have that I want put in where. Im not a planner like that with my flowers. I usually start planting and when I run out so be it. Lol. But I have a lot of perennials in there so I have to compensate for those too. Also there are 4o'clocks and balsam that come back from seed. I always have to pull up a lot of them because they come back so thick from the seeds from last year. Hopefully today wont have any wind so we can start burning the stumps that we had pulled up out front and then get that all smoothed out. I want to get the ornamental trees planted that I have . Lots to do wonder how many hours I can work in a row to get it all done. Lol Colette: great to see you posting today. Yeah I wondered too about everyone and if they had set their clocks ahead . Hope they all have now the ones that have to go to work anyway. Do you till your garden yourself or do you get someone to do it for you? We only had about a half inch of rain Thursday. I know what you mean about the picture thing. I had to get a friend of mine to do mine. I could not get it resized right. So any way im sure there is someone on here that can do it for you if you want them too. I don't know what the deal is with sprint , I have all tel and they changed the time just fine. That is great about the size 32 pants. I haven't tried any size like that so don't know what size I can wear. I keep thinking I am going to try on my husbands jeans but haven't yet. I keep looking at them and say to myself that they don't look any littler to me than my jeans so I might fit but haven't gotten the nerve to try them yet lol Lana: I love to have a tan too and usually by this time I have already gotten started on one from being in the yard so much. But this year I have been so cold so the days that I have worked out I have had on a long sleeved shirt and long pants. Weird. My tailbone doesn't hurt anymore but my butt cheek bones feel like they are pokeing thru the skin. They really get to hurting sometimes. Hey yeah that is the medicine I was thinking of Celebrex, wonder if we could take that? Of course it is expensive and my insurance doesn't pay for it like they do some things it is considered a level 3. so doesn't pay much. I just wondered because it is suppose to be mild on the stomach. Hope you enjoyed the show . Was it good? Vesta: I know what you mean about having to keep moving. I have to get up and walk every once in a while if I don't I get so stiff that I can barely move. That is great that you could work for 2 hours. Isnt that amazing. Did you ever think last summer that you would be able to do that now? Oh the flower seeds you gave me of the flower you didn't know the name of? They didn't come up . The Liatris came up and I have about 12 plants of that. But none of the other. I was really disappointed. But maybe if you go back this summer and they have some you can find out the name. The mums you gave me are all growing very good. Will plant them in the ground before long. Janet: yeah it is really neat to be able to be there at a birth. So amazing. I got tickled at her during the last of her labor and after some really hard contractions and pushing she just fell back against the bed and said , that's it , im not going to do any more. . I told her I don't really think you have much choice right now sweetie, this is one job you really have to finish. She gave me not a too nice of a look for a moment. Lol All of us that have been there at one time or the other know how she was feeling tho don't we? When are you going to see the doctor about your back? Hope there is something they can do about it. That is great about the date with your hubby. Doesn't that feel great to do? Wow on the 115 pounds lost , I know that has to make you feel so much better. Im so glad that you think of all of us as your family . That is such a compliment. Andrew: wow you are going to have fun in a garden and flowers this summer. Last summer that would have only been a dream wouldn't it have been. This year you can do it. Yea!!!!!! You can do those classes we all have big dreams for you to succeed. I know you will. Tell Susan hi for us and tell her to watch working that many hours , she will start getting run down and hurting again. Julia: I am hoping you get the apartment you want . You need it now don't you? Yeah Vioox is the one they recalled. Anyway I am praying for you to be able to get your apartment tomorrow. Funny about the shirts. Rachael: your little girls name is really close to my new great nephews name. His is Kaiden Trevor. I think she made that name up don't know. Tell your mom and sister to please post and let us know how well they are doing. Keep doing what you are doing now and the weight will stop climbing anyway. Debbie M: that must have been a pleasant wedding to go to Saturday. Well what did you see in the gardening section that caught your eye? Sounds like your daughter is searching for answers. I hope the pastor and you can help her out . Seems like the gardening bug has bitten almost everyone. Hope you are able to work outside in this stuff this year. I am so very glad that you and David are ok together again. I would hate to see it wind up other wise. Lol. Debbie im not slighting you but im about to fall asleep again. So have made things as short as possible tonight. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Jan, I wish we had some of that 70 degree weather. Still not quite that here. I would settle for 50 or 60 with sunshine, but heck I would settle for 40 with sunshine!! What color are your 4o'clocks? They are my favorite flower ever. I have loved them since I was real little, not even in school yet. When I lived in Wichita in the 90's my neighbor had them between our houses. If you get a chance this year would you save me some seeds? Yes I hope I get the apt. situation straight monday also.I am tired of this limbo. I will try to meet Shawn at the hospital in am for her pre-op just to get acquainted. It will be nice to know someone in Sedalia who is close like I am with the surgery. She is 4 days ahead of me. Charlotte and Ginger you are only about 6 weeks now. Won't be long! I know the both of you are excited. Take care all. Julia

Hello Jan & MO. Board, Jan congratulations on another baby in your family! I have another ,and probably the last, grandbaby due in May. They say it is a girl. I wanted a boy but my son and his wife already have a 3 year old son and they want a girl. I only have the one grandson and my daughter has 3 girls so I would have liked to have another g-son. I do love to cuddle and smell a baby I think they smell sooooooooooooooo good!!!!!! Well Jan you sound like us as for as living in the boonies, it is a 80 mile round trip for us to go to a big grocery store. We have a couple smaller ones which are 40 miles round trip but they are to expensive to buy a week's worth of groceries from. Thank you for the compliment, the postmaster at the post office the other day called me "skinny". That is so funny to hear. I would like to lose another 50 pounds but I'm with you when you said your 30 pounds you were still wanting to lose will be hard. I think it will take extra effort to get the rest of it off. Everyone that I run into that hasn't seen me in awhile thinks I look great and that just makes me smile real big. When they ask how much more I want to lose and I tell them 50 pounds they say that is to much that I would look sick. But that's where I always got in trouble because I can carry a lot of weight and people never guess that I weight what I do! I testified at church last Sunday and told them how much I weighed and a couple there said I needed to get a different scale because they didn't believe I weighed as much as what I said. I have always used that as a crutch and this time I am not going to rely on looking like I weigh less than I really do. I probably do need to up my protein because I'm not getting it all in and the water I'm not either. I have been having a lot of "PAIN" from my arthritis and fibromyalgia and my DDD in my back. I am still going to physical therapy for my back pain. The traction and the stem unit offer short lived relief but it is not really helping get rid of it. I never had upper to middle pain in my back as bad as I have had after losing the weight, I don't know if the WLS has had anything to do with it are not. I would like to wish all the recent surgery folks a speedy recovery and to Julia and any others that will be having surgery soon God speed and an uneventful surgery and recovery. Well I'm going to go to bed, I'm tired. Sunday is always a busy day for us. Hope to see some of you at our Support Meeting tonight. Love Brenda

Hello Guys & Gals.......... Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone...especially all the newbies....It's great we are getting new people. Maybe the posts will increase even more. I know it will start slacking soon with all this warm weather we are starting to have. I hope everyone takes a moment a few times a week to drop and say hi and let everyone know how they are doing. I hope to make it out some this week to work on the few flowers I have out. Some should be starting to break thru by now. I have a few I need to more around. I guess I should say Joe and I. He usually helps me out when I go out to work on them cause my back gets to hurting and I can't do much at a time. Sometimes I think his green thumb is greener than mine lol lol lol...... Andrew and Brenda.....I didn't make it to the meeting last month because I didn't find out about it till the last minit. I want very much to come this time and I'm working on it. Because I enjoyed meeting everyone at the one in Springfield so much that I can't wait to meet all of you at the Fredricktown meeting. But I don't know for sure that I will get to make it. My old van decided to get sick later part of last week and my husband just had dental surgery getting all his teeth out for false teeth and he is still hitting the pain meds a little and hasn't been able to look at it. But if I can get something worked out at all I hope to come. I hope you get a few more people than last time. Please don't get impatient with it. Once the word gets out I'm sure it will pick up more. Also I wanted to say I have a apt with Dr. Scott April 5th for my second appt with him. If anyone is going to be at Columbia that day give me a yell. Maybe we can have a short visit or have lunch. Id love to see any of you guys I met at Springfield last month but it would be great to meet any of you I haven't met yet. Gotta run for now and hit the sack...Take care and God Bless .....Tammy H

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Sunday here was overcast and a little cold here. I hope that the weatherman is right about tomorrow being in the 70s cause I am ready for it, as I know you all are! Jan-were you standing close to your neice when you told her that she couldnt quit? LOL...I remember being in labor with my 1st one for 20 plus hours and NO ONE would get close to me in the hard labor because I was squeezing so hard! I had to laugh, cause I could just see her face and what she was really thinking LOL... I dont know HOW you do it-I am pretty happy that I kept a peace lilly (I think thats what its clld) alive for 2 years! I cant imagine everything you have going on! We were transplanting some flowers last year around the pool in these huge decorative pots I have-and my mother asks me-"which coffin, I mean, planter do you want these in?" HaHa, Very funny mother! So I am really hoping that with my new lease in life-that maybe my thumb got greener! Jan-do you have any lilac bushes? I love them, they are my favorite. I did have one years ago at the first house I ever bought-and I loved the smell and they were so beautiful-but sure didnt bloom long..wish they would bloom ALL YEAR!! I will be going to see my doctor either Thurs or his nurse practioner on Friday, depending on what they say tomorrow when I call them back. Im thinking at this rate that they can just put me in a back brace or full body cast for crying out loud...I am no WUSSY, but this isnt funny anymore. I am losing my sense of humor and the pain is starting to get the best of me. I am diligent about having my chores done, my house clean and dishes done after dinner-and I had to force myself to load the dishwasher last night, stuck the dogs left overs we usually give them, in the fridge to give them today-and left a load of laundry in the dryer! My hubby wouldnt let me lift ANYTHING all weekend and so he helped me with the laundry and final rinses-he helped make the beds-and he cooked dinner, I just tossed the salads-and I couldnt hardly move--thats with taking my pain meds-YUCK.... Oh, and I bet ya Joes pants WILL fit ya-or even be too big-go for it!!! Let us know how it went and I will be waiting and bugging you! LOL...maybe you can WEAR HIS JEANS to the meeting-wouldnt that be something? If their too big, just wear a belt. I will NEVER get small enough to wear Mikes pants...I WISH..he has some cool clothes and I have ALWAYS said I would love to wear those and that sweatshirt and so on-he just says-oh no your not-and I say WATCH ME...IF I ever get that small-I will wear whatever I want-he says he draws the line at his camo (hunting gear) he even washes it in special detergents and etc...(crossing eyes!) That would be SO FUNNY for him to come home from work and seeing me decked out in full camo gear-he wouldnt be knocking me to the ground disrobing me cause he wanted a little somthin" somethin' he would be doing it so I wouldnt contaminate his hunting gear-LOL!! Colette-AWESOME on the 32s...I cant imagine I will ever get as small as that. YOUR A SKINNY MINI!! Doesnt that feel good? I am so happy for you!! lana-How was your show and did you like it?? I want to see hairspray too-I love John Travolta too-saw him on Oprah talking about the new show and also about Wild Hoggs, which I want to see and now that I can sit in a theater seat and not cut off circulation to my legs and hips-I want to go and cant wait. Hope you had fun! Vesta and Julia-not sure which was talking about the arthritis-I know that I took Vioxx for awhile in the beginning of my journey and I sure didnt get any relief from it. I have never been on Celebrex and dont think I can afford it anyway....so guess I will just try that Cod Liver Oil and see what happens....If it makes me have diarrhea and doesnt let up, we may have a problem houston, cause I sure dont like crapping my pants-LOL. Thats where I draw the line!! It makes me think of my trip home from Columbia when my bowels WOKE UP and I really felt like that skit in dumb and dumber where he gets diarrhea in that broken toilet!!! OR in White Chick after he eats the crab cakes or whatever and is allergic-either of those scenes were ME in Lebanon MO bathroom at the *** and Go....I could be heard from miles around and when I opened the bathroom door-my hubby was just standing there smiling...God gave him wisdom that day NOT to make a smart aleck comment! Trust me, it wasnt a pretty situation! I went and got my son and daughter from my moms place yesterday, went to the dollar general for some things and then the grocery store right next door and came home-by the time I got home, I was zapped of all energy that I could muster up. I watched Mike crash his plane 7-8 times and picked up some trash in the yard-Steph and I fixed the fence last week-and the pup barreled through the boards we put up that he knocked down....So, Mike and I went back out-Mike put NEW boards up and used power screwdriver with LONG screws-he is NOT getting out now unless he knocks down the WHOLE section of fencing! (knock on wood that doesnt happen). So, he had gotten into the trash and some insulation on the porch we were going to use for the attic-and WHAT A MESS he made ALL OVER...I was so mad!!! He also chewed the cable to our satellite-stapled to the house mind you-so now we have to go get 100 feet of cable to get it fixed! Hes a chewing fool right now-but he is just over 6 months old-so I dont expect anything different... I sat on the couch dozing on and off for several hours and noticed that I was pretty edgy yesterday. I thought it was because I had to deal with my ex again and actually told him yesterday that had he been in front of me, I would have choked him! Then I was going through Mel withdraws...well-my daughter called me at 1:30 this morning (phone rang 3x in a row before I could get to it to answer it, thought there was an emergency) and said she had a bad feeling and so she wanted to check on us-so I went and checked on everyone-and of course, had to go the rest room-and I got my visit from Aunt Flow too-and I was like DAMMIT MELISSA!!! I dont ever call her that, but she and I were just talking about it-and I was glad "I" didnt have to deal with that one on our trip to Columbia-because mine are uncomfortable too-and I never leave my house on 2nd or 3rd day-now not only do I get to leave my house-but I get to be gone BOTH days traveling in a car.....guess this WILL be a TRIP TO REMEMBER!! We will probably BOTH be on pain meds and miserable.....My hubby says he wont accept any collect calls from a jail up there-LOL!!! LOL!! Today am going to get my bag packed for Columbia, make sure and get my chili made for hubby for Tues night and color my hair I was going to do Sunday, but didnt care if it were purple, just didnt have the energy-now I know why!! Also have to get Jon and Stephs stuff ready for Grandmas house, since she will be watching them overnite-Steph is old enough to watch Jon of course, but with the prowler we had out here about 2 weeks ago-just dont feel like they should be out here without an adult. Mike can just go get them Weds after work and that will be done by the time I get home-cause I wont feel like doing anything when I get back.... Not sure if I will be posting before I leave Tues morning or not-If not-I will MISS you guys for the 2 days I cant get on here...withdraws, withdraws....I hope everyone is good and I am thinking about you. Take care. Love, Janet

Beautiful day outside. David and I played in the dirt all day, planting flowers! Tomorrow we will be out on the harley, God Willing. I think we are going to do a breakfast run then maybe up to Smithville to look for Bald Eagles. Later in the evening I think we are going to see Hog Wild..our anniversary is St Paddy's Day! Congrats Tony!! Welcome Home Pat! Have fun Janet! I love lilacs too! Jan...everything caught my eye in the garden center! I wish I had enough money that I could just walk in there and tell them I want 10 of those, 5 of these, 2 of those, 100 of those....lol Thank you for your concern on mine and David's relationship. I'm glad things are back to normal too! ....and for the record, I didn't feel one bit slighted. The wedding was fun...I guess the next one will be jasons (my baby)! Well, I'm whipped from being in the sun and on my knees too long!! Planting flowers and cleaning up my flowerbeds! Everyone have a good night and God Bless!! Love & Prayers, Deb M
