2 cups of peanut butter 1 cup of 0ld fashioned oats uncooked 1 cup of protein powder 1 cup of splenda mix together and form balls about the size of a walnut. set them onto a sheet of wax paper and put in ref for just a little while then put and store in an air tight container in the ref. Each ball will have aprox. 10 grams of protein. excellent snack , travel well too. Jan

do you use a certain kind of peanut butter because the kinds i have if i heat it in the micro wave it just makes them really sticky and they never harden up right. so Joe mixes it for me without heating it. lol Jan

Jan I have found that Jiffy works better then any other brand for some reason. I know on Claudettes peanut butter cookie recipe it calls for Jiffy, we tried using another brand and they flopped lol. And if ya use more the 3/4 cup of splendid for me they are dry and crumble, Susan used 1 cup one time not lookin at the recipe and that happened but anyway hope that answers ya question about what brand, we use Jiffy crunchy, cuz I like crunchy lol. I just say one cup of cause it is easier to remember lol most of the time i dont quite use a cup and we had been using some cheaper brands of p. butter and they havent been coming out too good. another thing is that i dont like heating the p. butter as it makes them too sticky to make. i just make Joe stir them up lol. Tammy H. I used choc protein in my mix today, and it takes like no bake cookies, really good. I also use pecan pieces, but I am out far enough that I can have the nuts. Kathleen G

Just came across this recipe. About how much pecans do you use. And how many protein balls do you get out of this recipe? They really sound great... Thanks.
