WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Another beautiful day in the Ozarks. Now this is more like it. 70 degrees and I was in my element all day. Dirt and all. Cleaned out 3 iris beds and dug up any and all grass I found in there, then applied Preen. It sure does help , especially when you have as many flowers as I do. You have to have all the help you can get to keep the weeds down. I got more exercise today than I have gotten in a while. Raking and hoeing and pushing the wheel barrow back and forth. Lol the back of my arm the back of my legs and just my whole back is sore. I will have to find something that works the front now lol If you didn't see my post from yesterday. I talked to Craig and he is alright now I believe. He is calmer , and who ever the stupid person was that wrote him that email is an idiot. I don't think he/she even knew who he was because if they did they sure wouldn't have said the things they did in the email. Just lies really . Anyway I told him that anyone that makes you mad or makes you give up something you like because of them is controlling you and that is silly to give your control to someone like that. He seemed to be better when I left him on the phone. I gave him my mama Jan hugs and loving. Lol Joe went fishing yesterday, didn't catch anything but he enjoy his time on the lake. Someone said the wall-eye are biting . Will try again in a few days. Melissa: well did you get your phone lines all sorted out now? That can be really a bad deal when they don't work right. LOL I had to laugh about you delivering pizza to the side of I-44 and you got payment with milk lol is that milk really that much better? I sure hope your test next month are good and that things will all work out in that respect. Like I told you I had some of the same problem long time ago but then they didn't have the knowledge like they do now. Im sure it will be ok. Don't worry and bother trouble till it gets here ok. I will also pray for you a lot. Did you rent your house? I know you are anxious to do so. It is hard to have a house and not have it lived in isn't it? Did you get your tulips planted? Sure hope so as they might not bloom now if they stay out of the ground much longer. Oh Melissa Craig told me to tell you hello and that he loves you. Julia: So glad that you are second on the list now. Of course that means when an apartment opens up it will go to the first person on the list , right? Sounds like you are being quite busy with making the banner and it sounds just lovely. Oh you spoke the magic words ,,,about a Goldwing. Joe and I had one until he had his accident and couldn't hold it up anymore so we sold it but we have decided we would love to get a Goldwing Trike. But big expense. If I could get a job it would go to buying one but so far I haven't found anything. Sherr: So sorry your fur babies are at the vets again. Hope and pray that they will be taken care of and heal. Why did the shots of syn-visc cause your moms knees to go out on her? I am due to have it done again in April. My knees are just about gone completely but it help me enough that I can walk. I noticed today that it must really be wearing off as a few times today they were hurting like they were before I had surgery. Hurting bad and buckling on me. Just have to bite the bullet until April. Lol I wish they had that stuff or something to put in my spine, since there is arthritis the total length of my spine and both shoulders , hips , knees and ankles lol don't know of a joint that it isn't in really. Hope your mother gets better and your dad will get better since he has had surgery on his knees. Wont be long before he will be fine. You take care of you. Would help you if I could. What do you do for a job? Claudette: I agree with you about him outing the person that wrote to him but he said he didn't want to. He wasn't sure that they were from the Mo. Post but thought so at first. I have been attacked too once but I just didn't pay much attention to it , made a comment about it and the person found out that I did have friends. Vesta: yeah by summer you will be fine and want to plant the yard full . lol Have you many trees or bushes? The green house is 10x14 and cost about 5000.00 to build . I used 7mm polycarbonate for the ceiling and wall panels and cedar siding up 2 feet from ground up. To save on the polycarbonate I used a big sliding glasss windows in both ends. It also has water and elect in there. Janet: Well did you get your tulips planted yesterday? Better hurry if you didn't. I know it is so childish and chicken to send someone a email and not reveal yourself to them and make false accusations. Nothing what this person said that Craig told me about was true. I told him to look online at the people that have posted under his post and he would see how much he is loved. Loved all your wow moments. Arent they awesome? Congradulations on the 110 pounds lost. That is just amazing to me. Andrew: You keep saying that you aren't losing anyweight but 40 pounds since December that is quite a lot. 40 pounds and 12 weeks that is 3 .3 pounds a week and that is really good. Yes the sublingual B-12 are over the counter and they aren't expensive. They are called B-12 dots. I just wanted to thank all of you for keeping Sugar in prayer while she had surgery yesterday. She called me about 3pm. Sounded sort of drunk lol but sounded pretty strong. She was complainng about her mouth being so dry and they wont let her even have the little swabs until she has her leak test. I said well Rick said you had the leak test done in surgery. I didn't question him on it because I didn't figure he would know what I was talking about anyway. Anyway she seems to be great and doing well. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Hi Jan and all, Saw Deb. D.. today right before she went home. Looked good, sounded a little tired. I passed all your well wishes to her. Hi Sherr, You are busy, busy, busy I know what it is like to help care for your parents. I was the main care giver for mine out of 9 kids and I am next to the youngest. But I can tell you I am probally the one who misses and appreciates them the most. I wouldn't trade any bad day for a good day without them. I miss them so. Just remember to take care of yourself also. Janet, I have started on the banner. It is about 4 ft. by 3 ft. I think. I did an applique and cut out a few letters today. Will work on it more tommorow I hope. I by chance drove by a craft place I used to take my mom to and found the material. It it used primarily to make banners.So now I just need a few more things for trim and a lot of patience to cut out about 50 letters and numbers.It is primarily done in blues. Janet get your booty in gear and get a pic up!!!!!!. you are past do! Vesta you didn't have to send me anything, but Iam like a kid and excited anyway. I am waiting for your new pic too girl!!!!! DBF and I just took the day and did little errands and went to the park and listened to music in the car, grabbed a Subway sandwich and relaxed. We always drive by all the apt. we have a chance to get to see if they are working on any or trying to get any ready. We don't know which area we are going to be in yet. I am praying for the one by the park. I wish I could go fishing , tell Joe I'm jealous!!!If it stays warm this weekend my daughter will probally take off and go and I'll hitch a ride Andrew I wrote you down on my calendar for the 27th so hopefully I won't forget. If you can't make it just post and I will know. Hey you are doing great with your weight loss. 40 pounds since dec and what you lost right after WLS you are right along where you should be. It may be you are retaining fluids since you had to go back on B/P meds. I am sure Dr. H. will check you over good. Hi to Mel, Tami, Lana and all the newbies!!! Well, Good Night/Good Morning!! Whatever it might me!! Yesterday (Weds) I spent the day outside, working on flowerbeds! I was pulling up flowers from one area and transplanting them to other areas. There is an old barn on our property and whoever lived here years back planted flowers over there and I have been wanting to transplant them to my house for years! Now I have them over here with me and I pray the Good Lord gives me the strength to get them buried tomorrow. The bulbs are real moist so I know they will hold up that long! Most of them are daffodils and daylilies...they poked their little heads up and I gently dug em up and am gonna put them where they can be seen by all. This is the only time of year I can get to them, they get buried when the foilage turns green and they stay that way until winter. Jan...I sooo happy that you got to talk to Craig...that had me so concerned! Thank the Good Lord for helping him decide to pick up the phone! You sound like your keeping your fingers dirty as well! That's a good thing, very healthy for the body, mind and soul! As for David and I we're getting there, still not exactly where we should be but we're getting closer! As for the pathway lighting..yea that can get pricey!!...lol CONGRATS TO ALL OUR NEW LOSERS and to all the SOON TO BE LOSERS!! Keep up the good work, your all doing great!! As for the Harley at the reunion, it depends on the weather and my back but it wouldn't be a first time traveling like that...we love it! I did finally get a chance to talk to David about the reunion and he's thinking about it. He said he still had one more week of vacation and he said that we would probably stay at a motel at night and then spend the day with everyone else. I know he's worried that my back won't hold up and that someone else will be having to give me a ride home or to the hospital, depending on how bad off I am...lol If I am missing anyone, I'm sorry...I am so tired but wanted to post something since I didn't make it on here in the morning like most people do. Still have my "updated" prayer list and if you have asked to me put you on it, your there...if you asked for someone else to be on there, they are. Special needs whether they be physical, emotional, spiritual, financial or mental....they are all there!! Lord, I ask that you watch over our people here on the Missouri Board! We all have had a rough month and for many, it's been even longer! We need you to guide us, to protect us from the evils that this world brings our way! To give us strength so that we may fight the battles that need fought! We need to feel your presence in our hearts, minds and souls! Your are our Father and even though we are not worthy, we ask for your help because without you we are nothing!! God Bless Each and Every One of Us, Our Spouses, Our Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Brothers, Sisters, Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Neices, Friends, Acquaintances and of course our Furbabies. Lord I also ask that you bless our Pastors, their Families and our Churches! I pray that Your Holy Spirit comes into these Churches and Floods the Hearts of Every Soul in there and that before the service is over that every hard heart be softened, that every non-believer believes and that the sick be well, those disabled will become enabled. Lord, cleanse us of our evil ways so that we become the Faithful Christians that we are to be. Less of us, More of You Dear Lord....More of You Sweet Jesus!! Thank You Lord!! Amen!!

Good Morning Everyone??...lol It was like this when I went to bed last night, no one on....no new posts? Did I get up too early? Do I need to go back to bed for a few hours to let all you sleepy heads catch up?....lol I'm just kidding! I'm sure your all either up or trying to be! With caring for kids and parents, going to jobs and doc appts and the aches and pains we all have, it's a blessing if we get 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night! Julia, your welcome hun! Good Morning Everyone: WOWwhat a beatiful day it is today. Woke up the to my F-I-L standing at our door (still closed) talking to us about He thought we had to get up early this morning? Needless to say it was only a little before 7am. Aaaaarrrrrrr lol So I left DH in bed sleeping made some coffee and fixed my F-I-L breakfast (pannycakes and Sauage). He seemed to enjoy them as he ate them all up. Sit and talked with him for quite awhile while I was folding some clothes out of the dryer. Were going to go over to Joplin to sign papers on the house. Go to Lowe's and pick up a few thing we nned to get. Go on a picnic with Janet & her mom I believe and son. I am going to take my camera so I can get some photo's of her. And hopefully get them on her profile soonly. ~*~*~*WOW MOMENT*~*~*~ yesterday I was running around 2 different Wal Mart trying to get some keys made up. They were having their sidewalk sales I tried on a pair of Capris (jeans) I can now wear a 24W I also tried on a pair of shorts they came down to the knee. And were made out of cotton so they were strechy material. They were a little snug but they were an xxl in juniors. I was so stoked yesterday over the sizes!!! Cant wait to find some good deal somewhere soon!!! Jan: Yes, I got my tuplips planted yesterday and I also replanted my tomaot plant too. I smashed my pinky finger and tore then nail off. It is throbbing this morning so I am going to put a bandaide on it so I keep from bumping it. I need to go and get these nail taken off and new ones one. But I am going to wait until it is so sore. lol I am glad that you go tot speak to Craig. I pray he shows his beatiful face here on the boards again soon. Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ We didnt get as warm as some others-it was actually a little nippy out, but the sun sure felt good. Jon and I ran some errands and I had a lot of calls to make-or messages to leave I should say! We went to Food 4 Less to get some more ON protein shake mix, well, we are standing in line, lady in front of us in electric scooter and is very old and frail...They had bought one cart full of meat from the meat sale, all bagged up and stapled etc...well-she has her sister helping her-and her sister is telling the cashier that she cant lift the bags of meat, cases of soda, milk etc-as she just got out of the hospital from having surgery since she had a brain anerysm...(sp) so there are 3 VERY healthy gentlemen standing within arms length from this lady, she picks up one of the bags from her scooter cart, is shaking so badly-and the bag rips and 5-6 roasts come out of the bag-these men STAND THERE watching her, TRY to bend down from her chair and pick them up....dont offer to help NOTHING....I get my purse and Jon and we go up and pick up all her meat, unload BOTH her carts, BAG all her groceries, and then I ask if they need help unloading it in their car-the sister tells me someone is out in the car to help...she makes me get misty eyed because she asks me if she can give me a hug-because God had sent an angel when he put it on my heart to help them....Well, thank you-but I am not doing anything out of the ordinary-and she said-honey, yes you are. I then walked by her sister, who is confused as to how to pay etc, and she wanted to give me a hug as well...the cashier is standing there-along with Larry, Mo and Curly still-and she thanks me and offered me $5...told her no way...Told her that I knew what the world had come to when three healthy men can stand there watching someone in need of help, and lets the lady with the small child come help....to which-Mo turns to Curly and says-well, look at that Fat *itch....I turned around and said-EXCUSE ME SIR....but "I" have lost 110#, and now I know where it went!!! (referring to him) he went to open his mouth again and I politely told him to Zip it-cause its NOT your day!! Needless to say-I walked out of Food 4 Less crying because my back hurt so bad I could barely walk....and it was awful-would I do it again? In a heartbeat-but I have to wonder-whats wrong with this world? My 4 yr old was more willing to help then those men!! I wanted to slap their faces for being so inconsiderate!! So-no, I didnt get the tulips planted. I was in so much pain, I actually thought of going to the emergency room. I did call the Dr., but of course, he had yesterday off-as well as Fridays! I got to talk to his nurse and she was going to talk to the dr first thing this morning and call me...I am waiting for that call!! I reviewed some more places on line yesterday-suggestions I have gotten by email and am waiting for some literature on these facilities...found a really good priced meeting place-with a huge meeting facility and gourmet type kitchen etc-but the catch is there is only 4 rooms there and each room holds 11 people-now, I love you all, but I couldnt stand to be in a room where I am vunerable in case thats the night I snore or talk in my sleep LOL.....The problem I am running into is that a lot of places want a 2 night stay during the summer-and some are requiring a one week reservation! Not sure how its gonna go-but like I said-I am waiting for some literature and have sent emails out with our needs/requests and waiting to hear back and see who can accomodate us! I know its out there. Am also researching Truman Lake and that area. Since we are going through there next Tues and Weds, I am sure we can ask some locals etc and get some more ideas and stop at the visitors beaurea and things like that to get more info....YEAH. Well, today we are hoping to go to the park and picnic. We have asked grandma, sister, Mel and Terry to join us, weather permitting. They are not going to recognize Jon, cause he got a hair cut yesterday and its REALLY SHORT...but he looks so adorable and his big eyes just pop out at you now!!! I did a good job, if I do say so myself.... ****Has anyone heard of using cod liver oil to help with arthritis pain etc? My neighbor came up the other day and said she has been taking it for her arthritis for a month now-and she is basically pain free. Told me that she wanted me to try it (in which I made the EWWW face) but I am willing to do ANYTHING at this point to be pain free...if anyone has heard of this or tried it-please let me know-good or bad, ok? Thanks! Ok. so glad Sug is ok...I hated being thirsty, but I sucked on sponges on a stick-LOL, and washcloths....I get the dry heeves when my mouth is too dry. Once she can drink, she will be like a freight train, try to stop her then!!! Jan-I LOVE WALLYE....yummy...I have been waiting NOT so patiently to be able to go fishing this summer. I might be joining the guys at the reunion....would hate to bring in the biggest bass or crappie-that could put a damper on it-LOL...but then I always say I have walter on the line! (only once in my lifetime so far!) Deb-WOULD LOVE to see you pull up on a Harley...do you drive it too? Suppose you could give me a ride? Now that I am not bigger than the bike? My hubby wants to get one, but I would like to have my own!!! My parents always had bikes while I was growing up and we would travel everywhere on them...from the time I was like 5! Love them... Ok, I am going to get off here and do chores and get ready for the day...am doing shake and vitamins and then we are off!!! Hello, Missouri. Was so busy yesterday I could hardly squeeze in a minute for myself. It's nearly mid-term and grades are coming in and just alot to do. Janet, I'm so excited about the reunion. I can't wait Julia, the banner sounds awesome. Jan, so glad Sugar is on the losing side. Sounds as if you have really gotten dirty!!! Melissa, I hate someone waking me up before I'm ready. You are an angel to your FIL. You and Terry are such good people. Craig, hope to see your smiling face soon. Wecome to all the newbies, we love having you join us. Goood Afternoon Ya'll Well havnt we all been busy this morning lol it's not even noon and already a board full of posts lol We got up early and did our run arounds this morning so we could have the rest of the day to do things around here. I think im gonna start getting our flower beds organized around the house and see how much room im gonna have and what Im gonna need. Jan those mums seem to be growing already, when should I uncover the leaves and stuff I have on em? My landlord got me a small pile of chicken poop lol is that stuff ok to put a lil on the flower beds?? Im gonna use some for my veggie garden too. Im also fixin to make some hanging baskets, I used to love to do Macromae, they are gonna put the roof on our deck in a couple of weeks and when it gets warmer I want to hang my spider plants and others out around the deck. My classes are going pretty good, it really takes up some time to study and read. I've never been much of a reader and sometimes I have to read over and over again just to get what im reading. I have to write an essay for my writing class and we could pick one of their topics or chose one of our own, well I chose to write one on "Weightloss Surgery" and it was approved so hopefully I will do good on it. Jan I guess Im not eating enough and my body has gone into starvation mode, my pcp called yesterday to let me know my blood work came back good, exept I was low on B-12 so he suggested what you did about the B-12 dots, I then asked him for suggestions on getting my weight going off again, he asked me what Im eating and all, then said Im not eating near enough and my body is hording it, ai yi yi. I never eat breakfast and he said that i NEED to eat breakfast a light lunch and light supper but not to late so guess i'll have to eat more to get my body to think its not gonna starve, dang selfish body wants to keep the fat and Im NOT gonna let it lol silly thing. Well anyway, hopefully things will get going again, I guess I just want it to be gone NOW!!! like all of us do. Im gonna get off here and get outside, its soooooo nice out, a *****illy but niceeee.
