BLESSINGS....
If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.
If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.
If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.
You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

Dear Debbie,
Thank you for posting this. It made me cry. I DO feel blessed, but I also feel lately that the devil is trying to destroy my happiness with everything going on around me and to people that I love more than life itself. I am staying strong in faith-because trust me, as a person, doing it on their own-I would be in a looney bin by now with no internet...so no way to talk to all of you-who help heal me and lift me up each and every day! On the good days you get praise and on the bad you get prayer-besides church, where else can you go and get as much love, caring and compassion as you do here?
I am so thankful for you-and I dont think you know how much your email you sent me meant to me.....it was laid on your heart-to help heal mine and I love you for that. I am praying for you too....I really hope we can meet at the reunion, cause you have a big ol' hug coming!!! Maybe even two...LOL...
Love ya, and thanks so much for caring. Love, Janet
Janet, You are such a loving and caring person. Iwill keep you and your family in my prayers. But the Lord gives what he thinks we can handle and carries us thru what we can't. You are an inspiration like so many others. I love our board family. I wish we could hear from some of the others who have quit posting because even though we are down and low we have each other. I don't know what I would have done without these great people the last 6 months or so. I not only have met some of our members I have met their families. And the caring extends to all. I got to meet Deb. D's family and pastor yesterday and they are a wonderful blessed family. I feel not only has this board give me more friends butit has have given me a new Blessed Family with the Lord. Take care. Keep on keepin on !! Your children know how much you love them and at times like this when you feel lost or overburdened they realize this. Mine are almost 35 and 32 years old and to this day I still hear stories from them that I had forgotten about how I overcame a situtation or helped them years ago. That is when you realize it has all been worth it. Keep leaning on our shoulders when you need it because you have held us up many times when you don't know it. Julia
You are all welcome for the poem! I so very glad it helped touch the hearts that were in need! I always say God gives us what you need, when you need it!
Janet...hun, your posts have picked me up more than just a few times! Why do you think I sit here with an economy sized box of kleenex on my desk? I have cried through many of your posts, especially on days that I'm feeling lower than a snakes belly!
The same with you Julia....somedays your life is so full of things going on and your so stressed, I can almost feel it in my body! I sometimes cry trying to understand how you deal with it all! When the prayers go out and you come on later in the day or maybe even the next and your ready to move on and praying for others in need, it just amazes me! It's like with everything your going through doesn't exist for the moment and your helping others like you don't already have enough on your plate! Your a true survivor girlfriend and God Loves you for that!
When we sit down to write and the Lord gives us the words to type, you never know who they will affect but when you get confirmation back on them then the Lord is happy with us because we followed through with his work! We get blessed for doing His work as well as the thanks we get from those touched by His words! Awesome!!
As for the hug (s) at the reunion Janet...be gentle, we don't need either one of our backs to go out...especially if I'm gonna be on the harley!!....lol
I really pray that we all get to go! I think it is going to be sooooo neat!

REUNION THOUGHTS!
Janet, I did want to add that you might want to ask people if their bringing pets! Some critters may not get along with others if you know what I mean, then there are the people that may be allergic or even afraid of them. I love my furbabies but if there is a reason that people would not want them there, my babies would stay at home. I want this trip to be FUN for everyone!! Was just a thought...

Well, I outta here for the night hopefully! God be with each one of you and you families tonight for a peaceful rest and that we all awaken in the morning sun, bright, fresh and ready to start the day! Let it be God's day, left Him have control!!
Love & Prayers, Deb M
