Hi, all.... thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes....on the board and by private emails...it is wonderful. So here is a little update on my recent surgery... My surgery was at 2:30 p.m. on Friday....got to my hospital room about 6:30...at least without my glasses on thats what I thought the clock in my room looked like.... and then to my absolutely shock and total amazement....I got to see the results... The nurse changed my gown and got me arranged in my bed ....my arms were literally half the size...they were before the surgery...no more bat wings.....oh now they are still big because they are swollen...but oh my they look wonderful....the amount of stitches are a little over whelming but believing what my Plastic Surgeon said...in about six months it won't be hardly noticeable...I think he did a great job...but for now they are very bruised. But then the amazement came....I had a flat stomach.....oh lots of extra skin...but no more bulging round rotund stomach in the lower part of my body...my apron area was flat inflatted if you will....I just started crying..the nurse thought I was upset...but I told her it was tears of joy....you can only imagine... So today is my first day home alone....did do the steps 2 times to losen up my body...but took it easy....I am feeling really great. Well as long as I have my happy pills. Don't know about others but i would recommend this procedure for anyone...Oh it is not easy...but I just know it will be all worthwhile. Thanks again for all the prayers and thoughts. Betty, Thanks for the update. I'm soaking up all the tt info I can get. Know it and the arms are in the future for me. So, it's nice to have you ahead of me to tell me your progress and how you feel about having PS done. Thanks so much. Hugs and loveys Lana
