WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

I am home!!!! Mom & Dad loved the dog. Was suprised that I left DH at home and came by mysef. It was kind of nice to have that independence again. Surprised DH when I walked thro the door and he thought I had just left my parents house. Was a good girl didnt even stop at Krispy Kream on the way home. Going to jump in the shower, DH is taken his dad to do his taxes and go get his hair cut. I am going to hang out at the house for awhile. I had a WOW moment at my parents house. I have never been smaller then my mother except at birth. When I got there I asked her if I could get a pair of pants from her for the trip home. Long story weak bladder enough said. Anyway she told me there were a pair of pants in her basket. I put them on this morning before I left they were a 1X!!!!!! And they are loose in the waist. Now mind you they are elastic wasit BUT still beofre surgery I was wearing 34/36W. Doing Janet's baby happy dance I hope you all have a great day. It's cold outside so bundle up. Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. 3.) NOTHING: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine". 4.) GO AHEAD: This is a dare, not permission. Do It and DIE! 5.) LOUD SIGH: This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing) 6.) THAT'S OK: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. "That's okay" means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. 7.) THANKS: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say "you're welcome". 8.) WHATEVER: Is a women's way of saying F-YOU ! 9.) DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, I GOT IT: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "what's wrong?", for the woman's response, refer to # 3. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks be to God it is Friday....... Hello all fellow Missourians......Didn't get to post this morning because once again we were short and I came to work and jumped in running right away.....just now getting a little down time.....I am telling you it is so busy right now that I sure hope that does not mean when "summer surge" hits we will be doing extra, extra, extra overtime....supposedly they are expecting to have 10,000 more soldiers come this summer then last year....But on the positive side I may be getting a promotion and a move from my present work place.....so please everyone keep that in your prayers for me.... Got a busy night tonight as well....my son has his school carnival so I am taking him and the little boy that lives around the corner from us.....and of course, my daughter will go with us also...I was trying to get ahold of my parents to see if they would keep Jaiden for me but they are not back from my sisters house yet....they are bringing my nephew home for the weekend...so I guess Sunday I will keep him for the day...my hubby actually has a three day weekend so I want to go do something as a family tomorrow.....of course he has his little side jobs to do but that isn't until later in the evenings...... Still no word from my doctor just that they got some samples for me for my legs....of course, I can not take off to go get them because we are so short...so I guess I will pick them up when I go to the doctor on Thursday next week.... Hope everyone has a blessed and safe weekend.....Hopefully I will get to post sometime this weekend but I don't know between my own family and having to take my nephew one day I will be very busy..... Jan, thanks I got the number. I too wish the other newbies would post but I guess they have busy lives and bad Dial-Up Lana that recipe sounds wonderful. I will try it. I have fresh zuchinni to cook first though. I could eat that every day. Is the new do like the old? or did you go wild Vesta, Don't get too down, we know everyone loses weight at a different speed and any loss is pounds you won't see again. Sherrr, I hope we can get together this summer with the others. You sound like me. Sometimes I like being a hermit. Jan, I hope we can all get together this summer. tks for uplifting me, I started swimming today maybe I am not getting enough exercise. the class lasts an hour so maybe that will help..Julia do you like oldies music? let me know what music you like...vesta

Hey Vesta, I absolutely love the oldies!!!!I am planning on swimming this summer. I usually go with my grandkids and hope to get an apartment close to the pool. I used to do water arobeics and loved it.The water helps my arthritis a lot. I always feel better after I go. Take care girl. Julia
