WHATS HAPPENING
Hey Jan
Just a quick "Hello" I'm doing really good, I've been busy we just came back from a Marriage Rejuvenation Conference in Branson at the Chateau on the Lake Resort (first time going) this is sponsored yearly by my church and it was WONDERFUL. I start a temporary job on Monday and I'm happy about that, we need to pay these bills from our surgeries. I'm down to 254 and my BP is now 132/82 and going down. I got a little discouraged hearing about all the 100# losers and wondering why I hadn't lost a 100 yet and I'm doing basically what I hear others say they are doing and mine seems to be coming off ssssssllllllloooooowwwww, Dr. H. told me not to worry about it that I would not lose like those half my age. And now I realize that I probably need to be more active and since I'll be walking more maybe I'll see more results
How are you doing ?
Well I'm on my way out the door now to a meeting hope you're doing great yourself, in February I turned 61 and celebrated 28 years with this loving man God gave me, he's better since he recouped from hernia surgery (was a real scare there for a moment) but he is better. Can't say I'll post more but will check in with you from time to time. May God continue to bless you and you are in my prayers!

Dear Barbara,
I think you are doing wonderful!!! I, for one, have ONLY hit that 100# mark due to the weight loss I had BEFORE surgery as well....I lost 44 of my #s before I even went in for surgery.....so a lot of people who had surgery around the same time or even after are losing more than me-but thats ok..... I just wanted you to know that-some people. like me, do count their before weight loss and its not to make others feel like they arent doing as well-YOU ARE DOING GREAT....and also CONGRATS on your anniversary-there is another thing to be proud of!! Not many people can say that in this day and time, now can they? Im very happy for you and hope you can come back and post with us often!!! Take care Barbara, Janet C

Good Morning, Missouri Peeps:
First I want to thank everyone *****sponded to my post yesterday. Last night I went out and bought just about everything suggested! My surgery is Monday morning. I have to be there at 8am. Margie told me I would be the second surgery of the day. So I'm not exactly sure what time my surgery will be.
David and I are going to the Lodge of the Four Seasons this weekend. This is his company's annual retreat and we are both looking forward to it. I think I may even treat myself to some sort of spa luxury. A good neck and shoulder massage with a manicure and pedicure sounds great to me! I know I can't have any nail polish, that is okay.
I've got just about all of my chores done. A couple small loads of laundry then have to pack. Thank goodness Margie told me I didn't have to start the liquid diet until Sunday. We'll be home around noon on Sunday then I will start the surgery prep stuff. Not looking forward to that part of it.
Please pray for my youngest son, Jake. He got his myra appliance and his bottom braces yesterday. He started being in a lot of pain last night and this morning. Advil helps but the ortho said it would take a few days for him to get use to it. The myra applicance is to help his overbite, it replaces the old time head gear. He will have to wear the myra for 1 year.
I can't believe my Surgery is Monday! I'm not really nervous or anxious at this point. The Lord is still guiding me each step of the way and I trust Him completely.
Hope everyone of you have a great weekend! Will post Sunday when I return.
Love,
Debbie D.
