Well tomorrow is my first day to try soft foods since surgery. This 2 weeks on liquids really hasn't been too tough as far as hunger goes but I really have to push to get all my protien and water in. My question to the post -ops is... what was the first thing you tried at this stage? I'm leaning towards trying a little scrambled egg. Feedback?? Dannielle

Danniele, I tried mashed potatoes first and made them runny. They were good. Colette

Hi Julia, I guess I am a lurker these days. I am on here a couple times a day but just not at a stage to be able to have much to say. Being home since surgery has been fine. I was suprized how quickly the pain went away. Each day it got better and then one day it didn't hurt to get up. NICE ! I still have trouble getting comfortable in my bed so I am on the couch for now. I won't know my weight loss until my 2week (plus 2 days)check up tomorrow. I decided not to buy a scale for now so I wouldn't focus on the pounds. It really has helped me focus on how things fit and how I feel. My stomach was really swollen for a long time so it was hard for me to see any loss. But now I am seeing it . I am curious about my actual # of pounds--we'll see tomorrow ! I'll post it. Dannielle
