WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Wow did we ever have a great time at the support meeting last night,but sure missed Claudette. She was home sick and it her birthday too. Happy birthday Claudette. Sorry you weren't on my list for birthdays. So didn't know it was your birthday...Hope your day was good even if you were sick. All of you that got tomato plants last night wanted to tell you that you will probably have to transplant them into bigger pots in a couple or three weeks. Hope you get lots of good tomatoes. Andrew ive saved you some tomato plants for when you come up next month. Was good to meet Tammy tonight at the meeting . She drove all the way up from the bootheel. I cant believe she drove so far. But glad she did was great to meet her and her husband. Melissa and Janet were there and looking very good I might add. Melissa take care of yourself and let me know what you find out ok. Janet you are doing so great in your weight loss. Keep the smiles coming. Lana , wow. Doesn't look like you have only lost 30 pounds that is amazing. Skinny legs on that girl My sister, Sugar only has a few more days to go before surgery.The 7th is her day. Debbie S: you looked so good to have had surgery only a week ago. We are all sorry that Tara is having some problems and will be on IVs for awhile. We will keep you in our prayers Tara. Cathy Wolfe is having surgery today. Good luck Cathy we will keep you in our prayers. Julia are you going over to see her at the hospital? I have to go have a nerve conduction test run today on my hands to check for carpal tunnel but I really think it is arthritis. My hands go to sleep all the time. For no apparent reason. DebbieM: Yes didn't you know that to post on here you have to do at least 500 words. Lol I bet Wyno really was yelling a lot about all that noise. Glad you are able to walk and hike those trails Be good and don't get in any trouble doing all that being in the woods. Lol Rachael: so sorry you couldn't join us this evening, you really missed a good meeting. Will hope that you can be here next month. Andrew is suppose to be here next month. You guys sound like you had such a fun time last night. I am so glad you did. Well, Lucias has cysts, NOT cancer like Bai...I had the worst migraine all day yesterday. I have to take my mom to the SS office this morning, and then go take some pics for my dad at his warehouse. Thank you all for your prayers for Bailey and Lucais. I tell you for fur babies, I was just beside myself since Bai got sick. Poor Janet C, with all she's got going on, she still "gets my weirdness" and is always so sweet about the importance of my pups to me. Thank you JC... xoxo Sorry so short, my head is still killing me, and I have to get in the shower in order to get mom to her appt. on time this morning. OH! I sold all my old jeans 18/20s on that semo.net yesterday for $5 a pair. In case any of you want to utilize the free site. I have to be careful how I word things, because when I posted about my "Carerr Clothes" I got in trouble. I now have enough $$ to buy me a new pair of jeans in my size I am 17 pounds from goal...slowly losing...but still, better than gaining I love you guys!!!

Good Morning!! I pray that everyone is doing good! Kind of early for me this morning but I just had one of those nights! I think I tried every sleeping position possible last night but still not much sleep. I ended up on the couch at about 4am. Of course this woke up David, he had to get up at 4:30am anyway but still, I was hoping that I wouldn't wake him. After being together all these years I think we each have radar on each other, when one of us gets out of bed, the other wakes up! Barb...I'm still praying for you and your family hun...God Be Wiith All Of You! Tara...your on the list too....I pray you get healed and can get home as soon as possible! Melissa...we're keeping you held up in prayer...I don't know all the details but God does and may He be with you, holding you close until you come through whatever it is your going through! Carol...God be with you today all through your surgery, keeping you safe and at peace! Jan and Joe....I've kept you two on the list as well....Joe for his illness and for you Jan, not to get what Joe has. I also have you on the list for yours and Joes aches and pains, praying that you both be healed in Jesus' name! Tony & Colette...I pray that your meeting went well last night and that a lot of people showed up! If not I pray that the Lord guides you two in the right direction to get your support group up and running! Good Morning Jan and my OH Peeps~ WOW-what a great meeting we had last night...it was wonderful-it was so awesome to see everyones progress AND meet all the new people. I knew Tammy was going to come-and so I brought her samples of several different protein shakes and then some clothes that she can wear now and later. I was SO HAPPY to hear she has lost 12# this week on her liiquid diet. I told her that she would-but, like me in the beginning, you dont just take someones word for it~you want to see it for yourself!! ~~~WAY TO GO TAMMY....you are on your way and will be having surgery BEFORE YOU KNOW IT~~~Woo-Hoo!! Jan-THANKS SO MUCH for the clothes-and they are sooo cute. I CANNOT WAIT to wear them....I am going to eventually wear one of those outfits to the meeting to show you!! Thanks again...I looked at the clothes and went-these are so tiny! I cant wait to wear them! There are a few things that I can wear now, but will have to lose a little more to wear ALL of it-and then I am going to remember looking at them and thinking how tiny they are (to me, anyway)....and thanks for the tomato plants. Between you and Mel, I am PLANNING on having a "green thumb" and looking forward to this summer when I can handle going outside and planting or gardening....may pick your brain about certain flowers or plants, but will wait till it gets warmer. By the way-you looked SO GOOD IN YOUR JEANS!!! WAY TO GO....you look GREAT!!! I hope that your tests come out okay and that you get relief from your arthritis as well. Im so sorry your hurting, I know it stinks....you and Joe looked good-is he finally feeling better? I hope so! Felt so bad that I forgot to ask last night. Didnt Mel look good in her cute little outfit? Told her that I couldnt quit looking at her butt-cause the pockets in back were so cool and I loved them-they were so adorable and she is looking so wonderful!! I want her jeans!! (HOT) Lana, you look wonderful. I am sorry to hear about your arthritis-and I know how bad it hurts and I am so sorry. It stinks to start feeling so much better with the weight loss and then have to be in pain all the time, I know. I hope that you get relief soon and I will be praying for you. Did anyone at the meeting get Sandys email address or home address? The one who came with her son and has been having some issues? I got caught up afterwards and when I went to talk to her to ask for her email address-she was already gone....Sandy, if your lurking, send me a message or post and talk to us-thats what we are here for! On this board there is NO problem too big or too small for us to try to help you with!!! You will never be alone here! Missed ya Claudette. Hope your feeling better. Thats the craziest thing-sounds like something that would happen to me. Sorry it was your b-day too-but hope you are back to yourself soon and that you are feeling better. Does anyone on board have Taras address? Would like to send her a snail mail card? Thanks. Well, I gotta go-I think I have hit my 500 words-LOL....no-I have a Dr. Appt today for my back and knees. A couple of my neighbors who were RN's believe I may have ruptured a disc or two????? They said sometimes when you are as big as I was for that long, that you dont even know it until weight comes off. I almost didnt go yesterday because I was in so much pain-but knew Tammy was coming all that way and wanted to go so badly and see everyone-so took a pain pill, but by the time the meeting was over, it was already warn off, and so I took another 1/2 and by the time Mel got by my house-I was ready to drop!! I came home to a very pleasant surprise, my hubby had rearranged the livingroom and hung up this corner shelf he made me years ago that I adore and put my antique crystal lamp thats a family heirloom on the shelf....I about fell over!!! He wanted to surprise me-and he succeeded! Love to all....if you were on the prayer list-I am still praying for you (what Debbie M said applies to me as well) and I will see you all later. Good Morning Ya'll, What a gorgeous morning it is out there. It's still a bit cold but with the sun shining bright it dont feel so bad. We've just returned from the gym, we havnt been able to go in a few days with Susan working different hours and stuff, it really felt good to get there and do a good workout. Now I gotta get my day going, I started my college classes yesterday, so far so good. I have 2 assignments due already today lol so I gotta get in gear and get the work done, it's gonna be great tho, Im so excited about taking college classes again. Jan a couple posts back you asked how Susan was and the pain in her side, I was laying in bed last night and remembered I never answered ya on that lol. She hasnt had any pain in her side since we've started at the gym and she's started eating like me just a bit more. She goes back for a check up in a couple weeks so we'll see then but she's really feeling good and just loves her new job. Hopefully we'll get up there next month to the meeting, it sure sounds like you all had a great meeting. The spider plants are growing like lil weeds, by the time I get up there with em they'll be growing good. Deb thank ya so much for the prayers, I really needed that cuz we havnt been as faithful about the gym this last week, it really felt good to get there this morning. I cant wait for it to get warmer and on days we cant get there I can at least get out here and walk a couple miles and work on the gardens. Claudette so sorry to hear your sick, we'll sure keep ya in our prayers. Happy Birthday Hope you at least had a decent one!!! Colette how'd the meeting go up there last night?? Sure hope things went well, we sure been praying for ya's and the meetings. Hey Brenda please give the meetings another month or so, I put an ad in the Mountain Echo here in town about it, they have a free column for things like that, also Im gonna make up some flyers this week and Susan will put up at the hospitals in Farmington and I'll put some up at Madison Med Center in Fredericktown. I'll call the Fredericktown paper and see if they have a free column as well as the Farmington paper. Also the SIL's sister that died last week, her daughter is severly overweight and is starting the process for WLS, I've invited her and she seems really interested and wants to come so hopefully in the next month or so we'll be able to get things rolling. Good Morning Everyone: WOW it was so good to see alot of friendly faces last night. And some new ones also. I cant wait until March and we get to see Andrew & his wife. I have to agree with Jan I do enjoy the meeting so much. It seems like it take so long for the meeting time to get here and once it is here it goes by so fast. I really think we need to make them longer. lol And we had such an awsume leader last night 2 Tammy: It was so good to meet you finally. I pray you & DH had a safe trip home. And I hope that we get to see you again. Well today should be my last day at the old house. Going to go over there in a little bit. Finish cleaning, shampoo the rugs, paint ect. Then get it ready to be put in the paper. I will be glad when that is all done and over with. I pray you all have a wonderful day. Hi Everyone, I know I've been MIA on the board lately. I've just had sooo much going on. I still do, but I wanted to drop in long enough to thank everyone that came to the Circle of Friends meeting last night. Thank you for the kind words about my leading the meeting last night in Claudette's absence. I really appreciate them. We did have a good meeing last night, but we truly missed Claudette. She does such an awesome job. Thank you all participating so much in the meeting. That really helped me alot, plus that is what really makes these meetings so wonderful. I love hearing all the different ideas and comments from everybody. What an awesome group we have. To those of you that were new to our group last night......Thank you so much for coming and joining us. We hope you not only had a good time, but was able to take something with you to help you in your journey. Please come back next month. I know some of you have quite a drive to just get to these meetings and that makes it so special to see you there......to know what an effort you have made just to make it to the meetings. As I mentioned last night, I've got a lot going on right now so don't think anything of it if I'm not on the board much for a while. I'll get caught up maybe in a couple weeks or so.
