Hello from Tara Wheeler's angel, Sugar! Tara was sent back to the hospital yesterday with a small leak. She said she ate a small amount of jello and saw it come thru the drain...(thank goodness she had a drain). I know some of you didnt have them and wonder why they do them. Well in her case it was a blessing. She had an upper GI to determine for sure and it is a small enough leak that the prefered treatment is to let it heal on its own.She is NPO given IV nourshisment and fluids, and has been pumped full of antibiotics. She is not septic! Thank goodness. She will be sent home with an IV also. She said she ran a very low grade fever and is as weak as a kitten. She is trying to still move and has made two rounds of walking while in there. She will call me to tell me if she gets to go home tomorrow or not...if not, I will try to go visit her in the hospital before the meeting of COF tomorrow night. Keep her in your prayers! Thanks, Sugar
