My stitch fell out!!

All this time, since 01-26-07 I have had a stitch hanging out of the incision where they put the port to my Lap band. I have been worried about it and the rash I had!! I finally spoke with my pcp's nurse and good friend about it. She said to leave it alone, thinking what I did about it maybe holding the port in place for now. She asked if there was any infection and I said said nope. Everything looks great except for this little stitch. I told her that I was to see Dr H on the 9th of Feb...she said, well keep an eye on it..meaning for infection and stuff like that. Well, was I shocked today when I got into the bath and reached down to check the stitch and it came out!! Right there on my finger!! I know I had a shocked look on my face but I almost cried!!...lol For some reason I was thinking all kinds of stupid stuff like that I broke my Lap Band, that I was gonna be in trouble....just crazy stuff like that. Don't ask me why...maybe I just got attached to it...haha...no pun intended! Well, just thought I'd let ya know my last stitch is gone! I'M HEALED!! Deb M.
