Approval

I got a call from NewStart about 10 mins ago and they said they received a reference number over the phone for approval of my surgery. I go next Weds to a class and see the doctor at 1 p.m. She said I should receive a surgery date that day. I am excited but I think it is starting to set in that this is really happening. Now I am getting nervous.

Congratulations, Christina, This is the beginning of your new, healthier life. Use this time to learn as much as you can and to renew your committment to doing exactly what your Doctor tells you. The rewards are well worth any inconvenience you have. I know it is hard not to be nervous but so many people have gone before you and have come out so much better for having had the surgery. Thank you. I appreciate it. I tried doing this 3 years ago and my insurance did not cover it. My business just started covering it on 1/1/07. Took a month for an approval but I waited 3 years so what is a month. I will keep everyone updated. THANKS!

Thanks now I just have to get everything done. I started on living wills etc because of my daughter and just in case and have not completed them. I am excited but also feeling odd because I have never been to the weight they want me to be at. I was in 3rd grade last time I was at that weight!!

Congrats on you approval, my surgery is Tue, the time has passed so fast until this week, I have Sat. & Sun, will have to go up Mon. and spend the nite. It is a five hour drive for me. Good Luck, Cathy...........
