Hi everyone, haven't been on in a while. I had Lap RNY 12/4/06and started at 355.8. As of this morning I am at 307. Is this average? I feel I am not losing right. I try to do at least 60 grams of protein a day (I do skip sometimes), but I am trying. I did finally start back at the Y with aquacise and once a week on the bike and treadmill (have a bad hip and it is very hard to bike or walk). If anyone has suggestions as to whether I am on track or need speeding up it would be appreciated greatly.

so lets see you have lost 48 pounds in about a month ? sounds pretty good to me. but the more you get the right amount of protein in and water it is just as important as anything else too, you cant lose fat unless you give your body the protein to keep you from losing muscle. soundslike you are doing well with the exercise deal. just remember that you are you and you will lose weight at your rate not someone elses. Dear Anita, You are doing fantastic!! I had my RNY on 11/29/06 and have only lost 55# so far. I lost 44# before surgery though-so I am officially 1# away from that 100# mark!! I think it sounds like you are on the right track girl!! When I saw my dr she said that I was right on track....so you are kicking butt!! I did have some set backs when I got sick and didnt get in my protein etc like I was suppose to-and my scale didnt move for 9 days and then with the female time-didnt move again for 5 days even with the protein being enough etc. I now drink 2 shakes a day and munch on a couple of protein balls to make up for the rest. Any other protein in my food I consider a perk! Congrats-I bet you are starting to feel like a new person, huh? Again, congrats and Good luck! Love, Jan
