A milestone...a small one but still had to share
Hi everyone,
Just want to share a little milestone.....maybe like a pebble in the scheme of things.....
Let me back up to Monday of this week.....
I was off from work for the President's holiday...and got a cleaning streak that hit me...anyway, I started on my closet in my bedroom....on one of the shelves....I keep my old jewelry box....well during the course of events, my jewelry box fell off the shelf and things went flying....
So after picking things up, and looking through, what I had I discovered my college class ring (I graduate in 1981) and haven't been able to wear my ring in about 16 years because of my obesity; well I (for the fun of it) slipped the ring on and not only did it fit; but it was slighly oo big....
HA....OH ...MY....GOODNESS,.....so now I am earing it everyday.....
OH MY.....I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT.....
Blessings always,
Betty Myers

What a WONDERFUL WOW moment that must of been for you!
I'm so incredibly proud of you kiddo. Having known you for quite some time I have been blessed to see the inward and outward changes you have gone through since having this surgery.
Hmmmmmmm who would of thought... from that very first time that we met at the convention, sitting and listening to the speakers, cracking up over our "drawings" that we shared (I still HAVE Mike's !!!)....
It has been a life changing experience knowing you and being able to call you FRIEND.
If it was not for your & Mike's intervention I would of given up fighting the insurance company. But neither of you would let me... and here I sit today, below my surgeons goal and almost at MY goal ****ep scooching it down a little *g*)....
I can't say enough good things about you. Your wit, intelligence, sense of humor, humilty, drive and determination. You ARE da' bomb chiquita. You just keep reinventing yourself and I sit back and smile.
I'm proud of you babes.... JUST SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU!
Way to go Ms. Betty Boop... way to go!

Betty,
I want a full report on the brachioplasty and arm lift. (Not sure what a brachioplasty is actually). I know I'm going to have TT and arm issues when I'm done so I'm gathering experiences from folks. I want it all!!! No actually, I don't want boobs, just TT and arms. I'll keep the rest covered - LOL. Thanks,
Lana
Lana:
A brachiaplasty is where they removed all the excess skin from my arms....and trust me I can't wait...
Last October I had the debulking (LARGE VOLUME LIPOSUCTION) completed and the Plastic Surgeon removed 22 liters of excess fatty tissue, so I really have some skin hanging.....oh well 8 more days and that will be gone.
I have the greatest Plastic Surgeon he is with Body Aesthetics in St. Louis. I would be more than happy to share with anyone the great experience I have had with this group of doctors and their staff....They are all absolutely wonderful.
