Oh my gosh wasn't yesterday beautiful. It got up to 65 degrees down here . The wind did blow a lot and pretty hard but was great anyway. I went to water aerobics and then over to the hospital to see my great niece , she is so pretty. Went to the grocery store and then came home. I worked out side planting small trees , the cold wont hurt them any if it turns off cold again. I have 10 flowering trees to get to growing but I am just putting them into big pots right now and keeping them watered. We need to get the stumps out of the area where we want to plant the flowering trees. I have some red cedar trees ordered. Well they are called something else but they are the kind that grow from the ground up and form a pyramid. Want them on the side of the property so they will block the view of this one house across the street. Lol It is a nice place but the people aren't. Well got an email from one of my granddaughters that is expecting a baby and she said they are inducing her labor this Friday the 23rd so I will have another baby to report on then. She is having a little boy. Then there are only two more to go this month, another great niece and another great grandbaby. Whew. May must have been rainy and cold or something . lol Julia: well you got your wish for sunshine. Don't know if you wanted the wind too but at least you got your sunshine didn't you? Did you get some of the junk cleaned out of those apartments? Sherr: we sure do miss you but I know you have been not feeling well and you are worried about your puppie too. I hope he is getting better and the report says he is healthy now. Hope other things in your life are starting to turn around and you are doing really well on losing the weight from your last report of that. Andrew: so sorry to hear about the sil's sister. That is too bad but it makes it a little easier to accept when you know that she had accepted the Lord during her long illness. Susan should be able to tell them now that she has to be off those dates due to pre-existing appointments. People that hire you are usually able to do that when you first come on the job anyway. Will continue to keep your bil in our prayers. Debbie D: so glad your assessment went well. And I know you are glad that is over and now is just the waiting for the final 2 weeks to go by. I heard today on the radio that schools that were in the declared disaster areas didn't have to make up their school days. I only heard part of it so I may be actually wrong on this ,hope someone else heard that. Something about a 6 day rule. Debbie M: wow we are getting a lot of Debbies on here aren't we? I bet you are having lots of fun with the grandson The more you lose the more fun you will have with himm too believe me. Yes the prayer list that we are praying for keeps getting longer and longer. Thanks for keeping track of all of them for us. Vesta: yes I have you down to bring you 2 or 3 of the tomatos next Monday. The ones that wanted red ones may be sort of slim but I have plenty of the pineapple tomatoe ones. Im anxious to see you I know you have made lots of progress. Did you measure yourself before surgery? I have as much fun seeing the inches I have lost as I do seeing the weight go down. Janet: you will have to watch with this pretty weather about staying out too long sometimes it fools you into thinking it is warmer than it really is and you get chilled easy. Sounds like Melissa and Terry gave you all lots of nice things. That is so nice of them to do that. Cant wait to see you all next Monday. Will be great. That is great about you not wanting any sweets. I have to admit that I really want something sweet but the sugar free stuff works just as well . Hope you are feeling ok after your dumping episode. Probably all the sugar they use in preparing lots of their foods. Tami: sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope you get approved for the FMLA that will help out a lot wont it. Hope you can get away and get to the meeting next week. Keep going with the exercise it is bound to show off next week . LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUND. JAN

Hi Jan and OH Peeps~ Yesterday was sooooo AWESOME...just what my cabin fever needed. Didnt do much of anything-but got to go out and play with the BIG BOYS....(my labs) and went for a walk with Jon. Later in the evening we went to my hubbys parents house just to say hi (they live next door-but like 20 acres away-LOL) and they told me that when I hit my 100# mark-they are giving me $50 to get an outfit or something because they are sick of seeing me wear circus tents-LOL....crap-I didnt even wear the baggiest clothes I had in my drawers-I am officially 2# away from 100#.....and I can FINALLY shop at Wal Mart. This makes me so happy. I played ball with the labs for awhile and then soccer with Jonathan-but then he was getting sweaty and I knew the wind would start to get to him, so we came in the house. Telling a 4 yr old to QUIT RUNNING...is like telling your car to run without gas-its just not gonna happen. LOL I had to get up early and get Steph to school early as she has a competition for her choir and she was going to NEO school in Oklahoma for the day...she still has laryngitis and when she talks-she sounds like Beavis and Butt head-and its like finger nails on a chalk board-ARGH...told her that IF she sings today-the group is going to get kicked out-LOL-more like escorted OUT OF THE BUILDING....she may scare some people... Yesterday had to go to Neosho to take my future SIL to the bank to make his deposit, or he would get fired-well-when I got home, our lab that I got my hubby for Christmas, had his head in the 50# bag of dog food and it was 1/2 gone-I just bought it on Friday and there wasnt much gone-I cant believe he is such a hoss!!! The big lab is every bit of 180#-although I think he weighs more since his fur is so thick right now, and my mom said yesterday she is convinced the Army could use him as a tank! His name is Dozer-and how appropriate it is for him!! Bull-Dozer!! Am going through Mel withdrawels-hope the move is over soon and things here settle down so we can sit and talk or go somewhere. We are going to our appointments in Columbia next month and just spending the night up there-CANT WAIT..its gonna be so much fun-AND I get to meet Dr. Scott finally-he was the other surgeon who operated on me with Dr. Fearing-so I am excited about that!! Jan-if you dont mind me asking-do you take anything for your knee pain? I know we cant take anti-inflammatorys anymore-and that leaves not much else for pain or inflammation....My PCP and I have talked and I am not going back on that Oxycontin, even though it is for maintenance-its just too hard to get off of-it took months of weaning myself-but I didnt want to end up in the hospital or on methodone like they said I would-I was never addicted-but your body still goes through the withdrawels if not handled with the correct care-so I was just wondering. Email me if you would and let me know... And-I am not just saying this-but you sure dont look like you have grandbabies-I guess I am old enough to be a grandma-but I thought your kids were still at home!! Thought you were my age! Dont even ask-LOL...Congrats on those babies though, what a wonderful blessing-and probably one of my favorite things to do-is to sit and hold a baby and touch them, smell them and cuddle-babies are so awesome....my daughters best friend-who calls me mom is due next month and I will be a grandma! Cant wait to hold the little guy! We thought she was having a girl and Megan just told me its a boy-so we are going to have a grandson.....yah! Gotta go get some cute stuff at the store...who knows? That may not be safe to send me baby shopping. Well, I am gonna close for now-am behind in my daily chores.....I hope and pray for all of you that things work out and I have a prayer list going....have sent out emails for prayer lists/chains...talk to you all soon and have a good day. Love, Jan

Good Morning All... I cannot believe that this is the THIRD time I have had to rewrite this post!!! Jan...yes, there are a lot of Debbie's on here anymore but that's okay, the more the merrier! I had to laugh the other day when our middle son came over with his new girlfriend, named Debbie. I asked him if having a sister and stepmom named Debbie wasn't enough? He laughed and said that the other Murdock boys took all the Hollys (we have 3 Hollys in the family) so he was going to keep the Debbie's growing. It was fun growing up in my family with my Grandpa, Dad and Brother named David, then I married a David and he had a son named David and I have a nephew named David. I wanted my first born son to be named David but the Hubby's first wife had already used it. Oh well... Yes Jan...I have a lot of fun with Timothy when he's down here! I just hate having to take him home! He didn't want to go, he was trying everything he could to prolong going back! He had school today so he had to go. He just kept saying "I don't want to go back...I don't want to go home!" That tugs on the ol heart strings! As soon as he got home, he got in trouble....because of his attitude. That situation stays at the Church altar! Jan... Those pineapple tomatoes sounds delicious! Where did you get them? I have been looking everywhere! Do you have any seeds? If so would want to share a few? I'm going to try a SMALL garden this year, nothing too fancy! I just have the need to get out there and get my hands dirty...like Rebecca says!....lol Jan...yes our prayer list is getting long! We have/had so many good things happening on here that, that stupid ol Satan is trying to push his way in but we know how to push him right back out!! Sweet Jesus!! They say to pray without ceasing and I believe that we are all doing a pretty good job of that! If anyone has a need, post it and yours will be added too! Julia...I don't have any new pics yet but we will see what I can do later on today....maybe! CONGRATS to GREAT AUNTIE JAN and GREAT GRANDMA JAN to be!! CONGRATS to ANTONIO and MARILYN ...Great new pics...Lookin Good!! CONGRATS to Debbie D on getting the assessment hurdle over with!! CONGRATS to TARA, DEBBIE S ...way to go girls!! Now your on the LOSERS BENCH TOO!! Welcome Home ROBIN and DANIELLE...it's good to see you two on the board again!! Well, I'm not sure if thats everything that I had in the first 2 posts but I tried!! Everyone have a GREAT DAY and ENJOY THE WEATHER!! Love & Prayers, Deb M

Hi Missouri!!! Just a quick note to say I made it to DD's and back just fine. Had a great three days with them. Her house is so beautiful. Just an old farm house but she has pretty stuff, mostly from garage sales, and she arranges it so nicely. The trip did make my arthritis flare up. My hands are really swollen and elbows and shoulders are sore too. Driving/riding for so long I'm sure. I sure missed all of you. I'm so attached to my friends here. Glenda called me yesterday morning so I had some connection. It took me a long time to read all the posts I missed while I was gone. It's so exciting to see all the new folks having surgery and those joining the board to learn as much as they can before surgery. I know how much I learned. Bought some too small jeans yesterday on my way home. They were just what I like and cheap so I'll wait to wear them. Ate some chicken on Sunday that got stuck. Thankfully, it came back up really quickly and I didn't feel bad at all afterward. Guess I didn't chew well enough. Have not had many problems with food though. DD had friends over for dinner while I was there and DGS was playing afterward and made S'Mores for everyone. He came up to me and whispered "Do you want some cottage cheese?" Thought that was so sweet. He didn't want to leave me out. I had a piece of protein bar so I could be part of his party. Please know that I'm thinking of you and remembering you in prayer, even if I don't list all your names here. God knows who you are and He is awesome and able to heal, deliver, sustain and comfort. Hugs and love, Lana

Hey everyone, quick update on my daughter, she has pneumonia. So glad I called in yesterday and convinced them to do some more testing. Ironically, last night her cough got markedly worse so I'm grateful she got the chest xray yesterday and we know what's going on.they put her on an antibiotic this morning. Jim's home with her again, HR still hasn't rec'd my FMLA application from the Dr so I am trying to find out if they've even filled it out yet. Jim was off work early so he was able to take her to get the tests done befroe I even got off work..so later in the evening we did get in a workout while Makynna rested and big sis stayed with her. Hope those of you who aren't stuck in an office like me have a chance to ENJOY this wonderful weather!!! Wish I could!!! : ) Hugs to everyone and thanks for the well wishes and prayers. Tami
