Well it sure is nice to be home. I made it in the door around 7:15pm on Sunday. My surgery itself went great but I had become dehydrated and it caused MAJOR problems. My blood pressure took a dive and my heart rate went way up. They pushed 4 units of blood and lots of IV fluids for 2 days and things got better. I didnt get to drink anyhting during that time and I was miserable. I was really scared too. PRE-OPS--- get your fluids in before surgery too!!! Dont get so busy that you let yourself get dehydrated. My doctors were great and the hospital was too. I am so happy to be home with my kids and my doggie. Slept like a baby last night. Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes. I'll check in again soon. Dannielle

So good to see a post from you, Dannielle. How scary for you but glad things improved. There's nothing like your own bed, is there. Congrats on making it to the loser's bench.
