Don't know if Joe and I are both coming down with something or is we were just really tired from Friday and spending more than 16 hours at the hospital with our neice. We slept yesterday morning until 8 after getting into bed at about 1am. Then went over to the hospital to see the neice and baby again and took some pictures. You can see the newest member of our family ,Alexis Jade Watson, on my profile. She is beautiful . A full head of black hair. It looks curly but don't know yet. We stayed at the hospital playing with the newest one for about 2 hours and came back home and we both took naps of about 3 hours and awoke to have supper that I had cooked in the crock pot. Went back to bed at 10:30 ready to sleep some more. I felt exhausted. Wasn't that wind yesterday something? It woke me up yesterday morning really sounded like someone hitting the side of the house with a baseball bat at times. We have 3 surgeries on Monday. One lady is from Kansas and doesn't come on here much but is having surgery in Sedalia with Dr. Hornbostel. I still haven't heard anything from Robin Nanette about her surgery. And she should be home now if she in fact did have her surgery. Tara and Debbie S. are both having surgery Monday in Springfield. I am anxious to see and hear from them. Kathleen: this weather is a killer isn't it. But it is suppose to start warming up , we will see huh? I have about given up on it. It snowed here too yesterday morning Fairly heavy at times but it never had a chance to stick with the wind blowing like it did Melissa: go to my profile and see the newest baby in the family she is so precious. You would just eat her up. Have you not figured out what is making you feel so crappy? Well you can only suck up so much and then it is time to find out what is going on with you. Rachael: Oh yes I love the first birthdays. They are so precious. They of course never know exactly what is going on and especially when the small cake is put on their high chair tray an left lol. Oh boy.!!!! I hope we see your mom and you at the Meeting on the 26th Would be a joy to see you there. Vesta: We have been very lucky here in south part of the state but Im not counting winter out yet. I sure am ready for spring tho. Craig: hey great to see you online. I am more than ready for spring and warmer weather. I know I am going to have to fight my self to keep from planting things too quick. Once it warms up some I will be thinking about getting all my new plants in the ground. We are all anxious to see you in June too. Janet: so is your sick kiddos doing better? Certainly hope so. I know it isn't fun to have your children sick. Is always good for you to get out alone after having all the sick kiddos even if it was just to go get gas for the car. Lol Julia: well that sounds like a major problem with the water in the bathroom of your sisters apartment. Is it an upstairs unit? I at one time in my life managed some apartments in Houston. And you would be surprised at some of the things that people leave behind when they move out. From Jewelry to pets. Furniture to Pot. Lol We furnished a whole second bedroom over the time I was managing by things that people left behind. I always put the decent stuff in storage for 30 days and if they didn't come or call about it I either sold it or used it myself. The new babys name is Alexis Jade Watson. The nickname lexie is already attaching itself to her. Look on my profile page I have a fairly decent picture of her That would be nice if they would put you on the emergency list of if someone doesn't show and just call you and say get in here for surgery wouldn't it? LOL I don't really know that she didn't have surgery. Could be the person that was looking up the name just overlooked it. Maybe Robin Nanette is her real name but a fake one to avoid people from know her on here. Who knows. Deb: good to see you back on the board. Have you just been busy since surgery or have you been sick. How are you doing with your eating? Hope all is well. How long did David have to wear the heart monitor? The niece that just had the baby is having to wear one when she gets out and goes home for a week. That is one of the problems that she had Friday night when she had the baby. She has 2 valves in her heart that don't close right an she also has a very fast heart rate at time. I mean like 140 . That is good that David didn't have anything new to add to his troubles. Andrew: so sorry to hear about your Brother in law. That is so sad. I wonder why people that have been told they have diabetis and then wont follow the rules. Doesn't make a lot of sence to me does it you. We will be praying for your brother in law for a fast healing. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Hi Jan and all, I had a good day today, of course the sun was shining most of it We got my granddaughter a basic navy blue brocade long ,straight dress for the dance. My neice did her hair and she was gorgeous!!!!!!(proud grandma here) She has such low self esteem, but she was really the prettiest of the 2 GD's and a friends daughter, I said she reminded me of a young Audrey Hepburn, classy not flashy or trashy like a lot of them try to look.We always go to the dances for the last few minutes to see all the kids. The school is small so it is fun to see them since we know most of them. I have less than 6 weeks till WLS!!It is hard to believe it is that close. But you know me if it was tommorrow it would not be soon enough!I told my daughter today when I have surgery I will be so glad to get rid of my old dreary sweats and shirts. I will not miss them at all. I also found a couple of tops at WalMart I want to get for summer that are cute and my daughter wants me to get a pair of "Phat Baby" boots which are just too cool . She has a red and black pair and my oldest GD has a pair of pink ones. They are really comfy. They are a flat style of western boots with a little jazzy flair. I too have found some great things others have left behind. Right now I have an extra set of end tables and some lamps from an apt. I let my sister have some rugs and things. My whole house is done in early Salvation Army, Garage Sale and Dumpster Dive!!I love it. I am more proud of these things than new ones. I hope every one that is ill is starting to get better. I wrote Ila from NY about an update on her nephew Josh and she said he is hanging in there. Has some upper extremity movement but still has a long way to go. So please keep him in our prayers he is one of our SOLDIERS wounded in war. They never expected him to make it this far and I am sure he is not out of the woods yet. Our new surgeries are looking great!! Marilyn's new pic, WOW, and I see Gretta here at home, but she has no pic, she looks great. Vesta and Debbie M. any new pics since the surgery?? Hello to all I have not mentioned, as you can see a little sunshine really gets me moving. Take care Julia

Good Morning Missouri, Just a quick post before we head off to church. We got a call early this morning from the BIL's wife, she said they've moved him into ICU because his foot would not stop bleeding, they did finally get it to stop but he's lost a good amount of blood which they are replacing now, so they moved him into ICU to keep a better watch on him and all. His name is Bobby Albertson so please keep him on your prayer list. We're gonna head over there after church for awhile, his wife is gonna be heading up to St. Louis to see her sister that is in the hospital, last night they pretty much called in the family and said there is nothing more they can do, she has CHF, her name is Carol Jones. Deb thanks so much for starting the prayer list, Susan and I will be at the alter with the list this morning. We know God is a healing God and can work miracles in EVERYONES life, we've seen it time and time again. Again thank you ALL for your prayers and support. Hugz and Prayers, Andrew

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Good news...oldest is feeling a little better-still has no voice-but that could be a little perk~LOL....but the youngest is a little worse and the middle child is acting like he wants to come down with it....I am DEFINITELY ready to see if calgon will take me away~~~never has worked in the past-but I am not known for being a quitter! Not going to make it to church this morning due to the sick kiddos-am having the boys new bunk beds delivered today from Mel and Terry and then have to catch up on the laundry since the washing machine was froze most of the week!! Since its gonna be nicer today, maybe it will cooperate! Hubby is out splitting wood and I am making breakfast while I post this. Got the WORST case of dumping I have ever experienced yesterday. I had to actually stop the car and barely got the door opened and yep-you guessed it-threw up right there in front of God and everybody!! Didnt even have a chance to get OUT of the car! I felt like I was having a heart attack too-and then I just kept throwing up, couldnt stop for 20 minutes or so-DANG...that wiped me out and I laid down on the couch where I stayed until I took a shower before 9 and then went to bed an hour later. I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open. Of course, the dumping made my tummy hurt-only it was lower-like where my old tummy is-I hate that feeling. ( I told my hubby thats what I got for just thinking to myself-I havent thrown up in a LONG time) I just want you to know that you are ALL in my prayers-Andrews BIL, Andrews SIL, you and your wife and families, everyone with sick kids or loved ones-or sick yourselves, all of our new post ops and prayers for all the upcoming surgeries! I know that prayers are so powerful and this is a powerful board....please know you are loved and being prayed for right now. Everyone be safe today and we will tt you later. Love, Jan

My F-I-L wanted to visit all night long. lol I have been married to my DH for 8 years and in all those year. I dont think I have ever heard him talk so much at one time. I think maybe he was a litle more lonley then he thought or cared to admit. Anyways I am checking my emails and thought I would pop on here and say Howdy. Gotta make a load out to Janets house. And then head back to dad's house. I hope you all have a great day. Enjoy the sun shine!!!! Love ya Melissa

Hello Missouri, Man they are saying our high tomorrow is going to be 58 can you believe it. Now if we get close that will be awesome. Maybe it might melt some of this nasty ice and snow. I use to like snow, , not so sure I like it so much now. Kathleen G

Thought I'd post quick on the daily thread this evening. I'm getting the house picked up and trying to get things ready for tomorrow as I have my surgery. I wish the times would've worked out where I would've gotten to meet Tara but that didn't happen. I know we'll meet someday though. I'm a little nervous, excited - you all know the emotions as you've been there before. Thanks in advance for your prayers tomorrow morning. I'll try to check in Tuesday morning.
