My wifes brother is in need of alot of prayers. He is severly diabetic and very over weight. 3 Years ago he lost half of his left foot due to infection. That never really has healed up right plus he really hasnt taken all the good care of himself but anyway yesterday he went to the doctor because his foot was swollen big time and the top of it had started turning black, after seeing the doctor they stuck him in the hospital and started IV anti-biotics. We got a call this morning that the infection in his foot is that bad that they are taking him into the OR at 1pm today to remove his foot above the ankle, then in five days after more anti-biotics have gone through his system they are going to remove the lower part of his leg just under his knee so please keep him in your prayers that everything goes alright. He's suppose to be on a C-Pap machine but doesnt use it like he should and we are worried about him coming out of anesesia (sp). Thanks so much, Andrew

Thank you so much ya'll for all your prayers. I've just got back from the hospital and he's doing pretty good so far. They removed his foot just above the ankle and said that it was really infected more then they had thought. They are gonna give him strong anti-biotics for the next 5 days then prolly move him up to Barnes Jewish in St. Louis, the doc said cuz of his weight and prior health history they can treat him better up there. After he's moved they'll remove the lower part of his leg from about the knee down. Please keep him in your prayers, his wife is really going through it because her older sister is in hospital with CHF. Again thank you all soooo very much. Bless ya's Andrew

Father in heaven, we give you all the praise and glory of our lives, we entrust our lives to you. You are All Powerful, Everloving, Prince of Peace, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. We beseech Thee this night to surround this thy servant, Andrews brother, with thy loving presence. Thou created him and know every hair on his head, we ask thee Creator God to whisper his name and surround him with your peace that in this time of tribulation and trial, that he shall know you art there with him. Where can we go except to thee Father, we try every avenue and path only to find troubles of every kind, for then we realize that we are in a foreign land and until we turn to thee we are lost. I am most certain that Andrews brother is afraid of what is to come, we ask you to calm his heart by being near in Spirit. And when pain is his - draw closer still and reach out thy healing hands and touch him and bid him strength from on high. Allow him to see beyond what is today into far country where no tears shall dim our eyes, no trouble will beset us. We humbly ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
