WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY ????

We have been gone all day Friday since about 8am till just a while ago. Been at the hospital in Branson with our neice who is having a baby. Poor thing she tried all day long and they finally had to do a C-Section. They would maybe have let her go longer but she has a heart problem and they were afraid to keep letting her go like this. She wanted to have it natural. But just wasn't to be. But we have a new little great niece 6 pounds 6 oz and 17 inches long. Lots of black curly hair and so tiny and delicate looking. Cathy : glad that you are all ready to have your surgery now. I cant imagine anyone backing out of having this surgery after knowing all the good things it does for you. But I guess who ever that was the nerves got the best of them. Melissa: thanks for keeping us updated on Dannielle. Glad that she is doing well and all is going ok now. Sorry that you didn't get the good news you would have liked to have had but hopefully it will happen soon . I know you and Terry will make teriffic parents when the day comes. Andrew: tell Susan congratulations on the new job. What will that do to your trip up this way in March? Hope you all will still be able to come. Hey glad you found out all you need to about the work program on ssdisibility. It sounded pretty good to me too. Yeah the green house is going to have to be rearranged some how to accommodate all the new plants soon. Janet: wow that is usually the way it is when you have kids they all get stuff at the same time. Sorry about it we will keep you and your kids in our prayers. Sounds like you have been thru the wringer with the knee problems. Kathleen: hi there again. Boy it just keeps snowing up there huh? We have been lucky right where we are. We really haven't had any snow or ice much anyway but we have been getting the wind and cold temps. Wow on the weight loss. That is amazing. You should be celebrating. Hello everyone, Well it is really early here, but have to get up and let the dogs outside, and guess what, IT IS SNOWING AGAIN. I know we have to have at least 5 or more inches of snow, and on top of the ice that we got that never went away, makes it kinda hard to get around in places. Boy this recall on the peanut butter sure has been people in a scare. I had the GV but I used it up a long time ago, so dont know if it was a bad munch or not. My son has a bottle of the peter pan, he has to take it back today. hope everyone is doing great, and stay warm, at least that is something that is different, it is not so cold outside now, it is 20 degrees, we are having a warm spell. Sure will be glad when spring gets here. Kathleen

Good Saturday morning Missouri.... Well today is my little girls First birthday....We are going to have a family get together tomorrow afternoon....I can't wait for her to smash into her little cake....I will have the bath water ready.....lol Hope everyone stays warm this weekend....I am trying to....had a bad headache last night and I think it has carried over to today...I have a lot of housecleaning to do today so I will be a busy little beaver.....Can't let my mom see my dirty house tomorrow....lol Melissa, I did tell mom what you said....my dad, sister and I are working on her to get her to come.....she can be hard headed sometimes....you be careful with your moving.... Good Morning Jan and MO Peeps~ Jan-CONGRATS on the great baby neice-I bet she is just precious!! Sorry about the C-section, but at least they are both doing great!! I am glad you were able to be there. Rachael-Happy Birthday to the baby girl!! They are so much fun at that age-and the cake is always the best part of the birthday for us adults-I hope you have a wonderful weekend and dont overdue it-I am sure that your mom and family will be more interested in the family time than how clean the house is-thats a tough lesson to learn, but I used to be really bad about it-and now its like, my house IS lived in~ (used to be you could eat off my floor, now its hard to find the table! LOL) Mel-your best friend might say-suck it up-but when you dont feel good-you shouldnt push yourself-ecspically when you have best friends who would be MORE than willing to come and help out-when their kids are better.....just relax and make sure you dont overdue it-or you WILL have more to worry about than packing the kitchen-I can actually lift my leg in the air now, and could probably make contact with your rear end.! This board is the best on here and everyone is so wonderful-we are so happy to be a part of your journey and to give you advice and prayers whenever you need them and then even sometimes you dont! LOL... Took both Jon and Steph to Urgent Care yesterday. Regular Dr. only works until noon on Fridays and they were already double booked! I had the option of taking them back to the walk in Dr. that didnt help on Monday-but decided it better to go to Urgent Care. They checked Steph for pnuemonia-and did a swab of her nose (that was a trip!) and said she has the flu! The dr gave 2 RX's, one for the flu and one for cough medicine and said that Steph has prob been sick too long to have the one script help her, but there are so many people in my house that it may help someone else! For $90 I hope it would do the dishes, clean the car out-and cook for a week or so!! LOL Went to get the scripts filled and Jon had wet his pants-he was soaked!! The wait was almost an hour-and of course, it was the ONE day I left the house without a spare outfit, pull up and etc in his little back pack....holy cow-the only thing I wanted was to get them home so he didnt get sicker from sitting in those wet clothes etc. That wind was HORRIBLE yesterday and this morning the swingset outside is just whipping around again....it looks gloomy out and I wi**** would be the weather they said last night on the news....crap!! Today am going to get some errands done while daddy is home to keep an eye on the kids cause I am not dragging them out. Have to get Stephs coat from the dry cleaners, go to Wal Mart and get the car gassed up. Thats the extent of my Saturday. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend.....will talk to you later. Hey Janet, sorry, been crazy as usual around here. Bai is doing better, won't hear about the stage of cancer for another week.... I am down into the 180s as of this morning. I can NOT believe it. I have 19 pounds to go to my goal. Me and the puppies have been going over to Nanna's and hanging out with her during the day....She keeps her house warmer than we do so I save on the heating bill. LOL I can't believe it, but it's supposed to be 63 here on Saturday, I AM SOOOO READY. xoxo Sherr

Hi Jan, The weather really SUCKS!!! here. I can't hardly stand it. I took my granddaughter to get her permit yesterday but found out they don't do it on Thursdays or Fridays. But at least I was out of the house. Then had to check 3 apts. For some reason my sister has water coming out onto her bathroom floor and I can't find a leak. I told her since it is tolerable just keep it wiped up because no one is going to come out in this weather and the board said not to fix anything short of a true disaster!!! I have 3 apts I need to clean out but I am not going to do anything till the weather breaks. I will have to haul junk to the dumpster and I am not messing with it in this wonderful weather. My other grandaughter(age 13) is going to a dance tonite. She really doesn't want to go but her mom said she had to. They have been battling with this for at least a month. Now since her best friend's grandmother said Shelby had to go Tera needs a formal!!!!So I looked on-line and found 5 really cute and cheap formals a woman had for sale. We are going into Sedalia today to check them out. The girl they belong to is the same age, height, weight and even wear the same shoe size so I am hoping for the best.My daughter and her oldest have always been the social butterfly and poor Tera could care less, which drives my daughter crazy. But that is the way my 2 kids were also. Jan congrats on the new neice!! What is her name. I love babies, especially other peoples!! Used to work the nursery all the time. I do miss it. Yes I wish Robin the best, don't know the reason for her not having surgery. Just wish I could have taken her place.If anyone is having surgery in Sedalia I am more than happy to be an angel for them. Just let me know. I don't want to push myself on anyone. I am going to be Debbie D's on the 5th. So hoping for good weather. I am sending out prayers to all the sick at this time in hopes of a full and fast recovery. Julia

Good Afternoon All... Sure is windy here today! I've had my grandson with me since Thursday and he will go home Monday! David's wearing of the heart monitor went well, no new surprises...Thank God!! I have been busy painting my kitchen and the shelves that will go in it. It's more fun when you have a little less weight! Not much else going on around here. Just wanted to check in!
