Had my first appt w/ Dr. Scott Feb 15th

Finally got to meet Dr. Scott and his staff........Everyone was so very nice.......I have to loose weight before I can have surgery safely so I will be starting the liquid protein diet soon! Hope you all will pray for me. I know this liquid diet is going to be a real challenge!!! I will be doing the sleeve first then when I can safely have the RNY I will have it second. I know it's a long bumpy road ahead of me but I want this so very bad so I am going to hold my head up high and keep on trucking PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS!!!!...............Tammy H

Hi Tammy~ I know I tt you all the time-LOL, but I just wanted you to know that you WILL be prayed for-and you will take that bumpy road with a bunch of the best buddies you could ever hope to have by your side-when you feel like there are days when you cant hold your head up high, then just post-or email us and we will help give you strength, thats what its all about and all of us post ops have been down that road and dont mind holding someone elses hand while they travel it too-so you wont be alone-trust me!! YOU CAN DO IT...YOU CAN...WOO-HOO....you are on the road to the NEW YOU... nothin better than that. Love ya, Jan

Tammy I am so glad that you got to make it to your appointment. I think Dr. Scott and his team of surgeons & staff are great. You are in my thoughts and prayers for the road ahead. Remember to take it 1 day at a time. Dont look at it as I have 2 months to go. It will help in the long run. If you need anything please feel free to email or post. Tammy you are for sure in all of our prayers. and glad that you got the first meeting out of the way . How much weight do they want you to lose before surgery? Where is Campbell at? Keep coming to the board it is a good place to come to daily. Do you live too far away to come to our support meeting on the 26th. The circle of Friends?
