WHATS HAPPENING-------------TUESDAY

Good Afternoon, Boy is the weather changing around here!!!!!!!!!!!! The last couple of days has been rainy and about 40 degrees, now today the wind is really getting stronger and it's getting colder by the minute!!!!!!!!! Well there was no support meeting last night for us. Andrew had car trouble and couldn't get there. And nobody else came so I closed up shop and come back home. My husband got a denial letter from his insurance today that basically tells us his insurance will not cover the surgery!!! WE ALREADY KNEW THAT!!!!!!!!!!!! So now hopefully we will appeal, but I don't know if my DH wants to fight them. He is basically running out of time with his diabetes and I don't know if he will have the mindset to fight or just give up. He had mentioned maybe trying to borrow the money but we don't own a home or anything to put up for collateral, we have excellent credit but I know for the amount we would have to borrow for the wls they would want collateral. He hasn't seen the letter yet so will see what he says. I went to my sisters this morning and took her to get groceries (she has no car) and that wind about cut me into so I don't think I'll be walking today! Jan I walk outside up hills and hollers and I walk pretty fast so we cover a fair distant. We went to a town not to far from us and walked it from one end to the other and back which is a total of 5 miles and it took us one hour and 45 minutes. So I don't know if that would be considered a good pace or not. Well I gotten go my two oldest granddaughters (17 and 15) are coming over to spend the night so I gotten find something to feed them for supper. TTYL Brenda

It's so good to go to a board where people actually care about one another. I didn't find this until yesterday and I'm so glad I did. Thanks to everyone that welcomed me to the group.
