I would like your opinion- at my assessment the dietician said that a food processessor wont get meat smooth enough to not make you sick when your in the pureed food stage and suggested I use babyfood meat- What did you all use? "Food processor meat" or baby food meat?

i didn't use either. I can eat some meat now but it has to be pretty small bites to go well into my pouch. When I could eat some foods I stuck with cottage cheese and regular cheese (like cheddar cubes). I have heard of people just using a food processor though with no real problems.

I cooked chicken breasts with sauce of some kind in the crock pot and put them in the blender with broth. It tasted way better than baby food but I didn't do it much because the texture kind of grossed me out. I ate scrambled egg with cheese on top, cottage cheese with salsa and shakes. It goes pretty fast and then you can eat more variety. Oh, I ate SF jello, SF popsicles, SF pudding, made Susan Maria's baked custard, stuff like that. But I still live on Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese. Eat much more stuff now but they are the two staples that I cannot get by without. You'll do fine, just be very careful and chew well. Hugs Lana

Robin I didnt go the baby food route. I just kept to soft food that I could handle and got my protein through the shakes and eating cottage cheese and stuff. My wife did fix like turkey soup and would put the meat through the blender to chop it up fine, that went well for me. Andrew
