~Update on Sherr and Bailey~
Hi Everyone,
Sherr just left a message on my phone (was on it-) and said that Bailey made it through the surgery okay. The tumor was the sz of a golf ball and has been sent off to Columbia to see what kind of cancer it is. Sherr asked me to post that everything was okay and that she was taking Bailey home to recouperate since he has staples and stitches... She also wanted to THANK each and every one of you for your prayers, said it meant a lot to know that we were all around rooting for them BOTH.....I will keep you posted-dont think she will get on much until Bailey gets to feeling better. Thanks everyone-our prayer warriors, we appreciate you....Love to all, Jan
Thank you guys so much, and especially you Janet C. I have just been beside myself and I really appreciate you reaching out to the "Prayer Warriors" for us.
Bailey is STILL very tired, he will hold his head up for a second, and then lays back down. I pretty much left the lights on in the bedroom all night and watched him sleep.....
I know...my own mom calls me the "Dog Lady".... I can't really explain it, but I just love him and Lucais. LOL
My mom came by and called twice last night to check on him, and my sister found out thru my mom and had her two children get in a little circle and pray for us.
When mom told her, she said, "Oh no! Bailey is her baby!"....LOL...
While I love Bailey and Lucais both, they are very different dogs. Lucais has always been "the man of the house"...he's the guard dog and doesn't like to be loved on, and petted very much...he just does his "own thing" kind of like a cat.
But, my Bailey......he is a little baby....he would stay with me 100% of the time...either playing ball with me, or me just holding him, talking to him and him looking at me with sweet puppy eyes. He's very dependent on me. He's the one in my Avatar, and ironically, I changed it over the weekend.
Thank you guys.....FOR EVERYTHING....
Love you!
