~Prayer request for Sherr~
Hello OH Peeps-
I just got off the phone with Sherr-I have been trying to call her ALL morning to check on Bailey and how the appt went etc-and she had just found out that Bailey has cancer. They are going to operate at 9 am, and I was wondering if you could all put Bailey and Sherr in your prayers. She asked her mom to go with her because she is scared and doesnt know how she will react if it doesnt go well-but they wont go. Told her to take Dillon (her son) with her as he is old enough to be a good support for her! Told her that if I lived closer-I would go....also told her that Bailey can sense emotion and to stay strong~she said the tumor is the size of an egg on his throat-and she was told last week it was tonsilitis and so she had been just giving him antibiotics....I feel so bad for her.....So-please when you say a prayer-squeeze in one more-Thanks so much....Jan
Jan:
Just said a prayer for Sherr and her little pup Bailey. I know just how attach you get to your pets. Is Bailey the apricot or black one? I hope they are able to remove the tumor and that the cancer has not spread. Please tell her she and Bailey are in our thoughts and prayers.
Toy poodles are wonderful pets. My first toy poodle was white and named Gigi Michelle Monique. She passed away after giving birth to 4 precious little poodles. One was black, one was white with black spots (party poodle) and one was deep chocolate and the runt was white with chocolate sports (another party poodle). What an experience that was raising those 4 little pups by hand! I was 12 years old at the time. We kept two of them. The chocolate one we named Cocoa and the white with chocolate spots was named Snoopy. I even had my senior picture taken with those two. They were wonderful pets .
I hope little Bailey is okay. Please keep us posted on how Sherr and Bailey are doing.

I too will pray for Sherr and Bailey! I am a dog lover myself and had to put down my 16 year old blonde retriever a couple of years ago, one of the hardest things I ever had to do!
One of my retrievers that I gave away when I wasn't able to keep up with them because of my health was named Halee, her new owners named her Bailey.
I pray that the surgery goes well and they get all the mass and that Bailey stays strong through it all. I also pray that Sherr be held up through all this and stays strong and at peace no matter the outcome. I also ask that Sherr's parents find in their hearts understanding and comfort when it comes to Sherr and her physical, mental and sprirtual needs! Thank you Lord for all that you have done!
Love you Sherr, hang in there and know that we love you! Deb M.
Jan,
Tell Sherr that she and Bailey are in my thoughts and prayers. I am a total dog lover, have had poodles and yorkies, love the tiny babies!!! It is so hard when they are sick.
Know that Bailey has had lots of love and the best care Sherr could give and hope the outcome is what we are praying for.
Hugs and love to you, Sherr and Bailey,
Lana
Janet, and my WLS MO family.....thank you ALL so much for everything. The last couple of days have been the longest in my life.
Janet knows, and I will share with you guys, that I got Bailey (((the black one)))) and his brother, Lucais, (blonde one) 3 days before my brain tumor diagnosis was given.
I really feel in my heart that they have kept me alive these last 8 years, and have seen me through a lot of days that I would have not had the strength to go on, but I knew they needed me to care for them.
I was reaaaalllly sick back then, and they were both such great medicine.
Bailey lived thru the surgery an they called me into the room when the Dr. disected the tumor...IT WAS SOOOO BAD....They are sendig it off to Columbia to have it tested. I should know more in a couple of weeks.
I lost 5 pounds in one day, and I think I cried that all out in tears. He is home with me now and his brother Lucais is staying right with him. He and I are both watching him sleep
Thank you allllll so much from the bottom of my heart. I believe so deeply in the power of prayer, and know that you guys have all lifted me up when I was not strong.
Thank you and a big hug to each of you!
Love,
Sherr
