Well the Super Bowl went the way I expected it to go . I thought it was a great game. Hope everyone else enjoyed it too. Did any one see the commercial with the hamster and another animal using a real mouse as a mouse? It was toward the first of the game? So funny. Yesterday and the sun was just beautiful don't know what today will bring but we got up to 38 degrees. Almost heat wave ! I ask anyone that is going to be at the meeting on the 26th in Springfield at the Circle of Friends if you want some tomato starts let me know what kind you want so I can bring enough for everyone. Red or Yellow or cherry tomatoes. That is the choices I have. As many as I have you can have more than one too if you like. I plan on going to Branson today to check out that Health Club. I called the hospital to see if they had a pool in a club like area and they said not an indoor one so I guess this is the only one in the area. The Ymca in Hollister said they would have one when the new facility was built , when I ask when that would be they said in 2009. Well I don't think I want to wait that long. Anxious to get started on this. Joe has promised me he would go with me too . It would be good for him too with all of his problems. I went shopping in my closet today to see if I have any thing else in there of clothes that my daughter brought me that I can wear. She brought a straight pencil Ralph Lauren skirt and vest in a size 10 that I could wear if it weren't for my belly fat. I wonder how soon you can get plastic surgery to remove all of that? I really think I could wear size 8 if all of that excess skin and fat were removed. Lana: wow on reaching onderland so quickly. That is amazing. You are really doing well. Julia: I am so sorry to hear about your car being broken down. If it is just the water pump it shouldnt be too expensive to replace. And if your brother is a mechanic it shouldn't be too bad at all. Hope you enjoyed watching the football game. I know I did the Colts really good. Yeah the green house is beginning to get a little crowded all ready tho. I told Joe I may have to put a lot of the bigger plants over in the trailer and hang a grow light in there for them. But it does feel nice when you are in there. And you can see all around outside and so nice and warm. Andrew: Thanks for the spider plants in advance. They grow very fast so a couple will be plenty. Most of the babies will grow just by putting the base of them into a pot of dirt right when they are cut off the mother plant. But putting them in the dish of water may help get their little roots started first I am getting so excited about growing things this year. I wanted to set me up a vegetable garden area before this spring got here but don't know if I am going to get it done or not. Glad you are feeling better and hope that you get your exercise levels back up . Sounds like you are really doing well tho. Hey that is a really good wow moment about the sweat pants at wal mart. Way to go guy. By the time you get ready to buy more jeans you may just skip some sizes you know. Janet: So join the ding dong club. Im sort of one of those too. Lol How many tomato plants do you want and what kind? Will bring them on the 26th Was so nice that you got to visit some of your exes family again. That must have been some excitement. So you are going to be the mother of the bride soon huh? Great that is fun to do. So you have already lost 90 pounds? Wow. You all make me feel so inadequate as far as my weight loss has gone. I would love it if I had lost 90 pounds already I wouldn't lack but a few pounds to be at goal. Would really be happy. Vesta: wow we got a slight dusting of snow late Sat night when you got your 4 inches. Where is your town aren't you close to West Plains or is it Mt. Home? Let me know what sort of tomato plants you want and how many. Yes I have the things in a plastic bag already. If you can repair them some I would appreciate it. I intend to put them into shadow boxes to hang on the wall. They are items my grandmother and my mom made years ago. They are pillow cases that they crocheted either roses on the bottom of the case or one is the little crocheted little bonnet girl on . I think they would be really pretty in boxes hanging on the wall. Melissa: You look great girl. Love the new picture on your profile. There sure is a difference in you for sure. Hope you are able to see all of that. You are a beautiful young woman. Certainly hope your mother will be ok. Will add her to my prayer list. Ok? Oh I know you are so pleased to be able to go back to church again. That is wonderful I am proud of you , you know Tell your mother hi for all of us. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Hi Jan and all, YEAH COLTS!!!! I really like Tony Dungey, you know it takes a real man to run a NFL football team and be soft spoken and not cuss. I am glad for him for the win. I spent the afternoon at my daughters watching the game and relaxing. I was needing something else to do and we usually EAT!! but I had my granddaughter Tera get her yarn out and I crocheted a berret type cap to wear when it is cold. Maybe that will jinx us into warmer weather Yes I hope my brother is at work tommorow. He said anytime I have problems to just park my car in the lot and he will fix it. He hunts on his time off so it is hard to catch him. I forget when I see him to get a phone number from him other than his work phone. I have other brothers that work on cars but this is the one a year older than me that I grew up with. I am number 8 and he is number 7 out of 9 kids. I wish I were closer I would get some tomatoe plants from you. but until the weather breaks and my car is fixed I won't be going far. Gretta said she would like to start visiting support groups with me when spring gets here and our schedules match up. So I am looking forward to having a "roady friend". I like to travel when I have the chance. Maybe we will check out the "COOK'S BOTANICAL GARDEN AND BED AND BREAKFAST" and a visit to Circle of Friends support group, that would be fun. Jan we have 2 real nice parks in town. One is Liberty park and it is the smaller one but my favorite. I think that is because we used to have school picnics there when I was in grade school. It has a fishing lagoon and in nice weather a minature train that gives rides. There is also a pool there. The other is Centennial park. I like the pool there but it is farther on walking to get to a shelter but it is real nice also.So either one would be ok. Centennial is close to the hospital and Liberty is right on N. 65 other wise called N. Limit. So both are easy to get too. Also Liberty has a nice rose garden. Well I know this week is going to be busy for me so I need to go to sleep. Take care. Julia

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ The game was awesome!~Loved the commercials, my favorite was the Sprint one with the connectile dysfunction....just because we have so many issues with our connections etc out where we live!! Jan-do NOT feel inadequate about the weight loss-I had and still have a LONG way to go- and had ALOT more weight to lose than you do-and the heavier you are the more you will lose (faster and initially is what I mean)-so I may have lost 90# already (happy dance) BUT...the reality is that I need to lose another 100 or more! I also lost 44 of that BEFORE surgery on the protein diet that I seemed to be on for months!! (it was actually like 7 weeks total, between what the doctor had me do and what I did on my own) but it felt like forever.. LOL. I think you look wonderful and you feel better and thats all that counts. IF I hit onelander-You will hear the party all the way to your place-LOL~ I have been having some REAL sleep issues lately...I seem to get up between 4 and 4:30 every morning, but my tail bone hurts so bad when I sleep in the chair and when I get into bed...I am already wide awake..like this morning. I got up at 3 and cant get back to sleep. It stinks.....no matter what time I go to bed, get up early. Jan-I will let you choose which type of tomato plants to bring, cause like I said-I will make some salsa and can it. If you have enough red, then thats what I will take, but cherry is fine too. I am easy to please. Our Sunday was uneventful-the washing machine water line was frozen (its off the garage and we dont heat it there-although there is a heater in there, it takes propane and I havent run it all winter) so we plugged in the electric heater and a couple of hours later, but not until like 6 pm were we able to start the laundry we usually do on Sat-so I will be catching up on that for 2 days-ecspically if the line freezes again. I heard Tues we are suppose to be in the high 40's so WOO-HOO...Went and picked up a CD of all of the pictures from the day before-and got the wrong one given to me, so I will have to wait until Tues to pick it up and get my picture uploaded. Keep forgetting to get some ring sizers, cause I am afraid of losing them and need to take my watch back to Zales to get some links taken out as it will come off without unhooking it now! When my hubby bought it for me, we had to go have 2 or 3 links put into it just so it would fit, and I think they will have to take out 4 or 5. That excites me, but I dont want to down size my rings yet-because I dont know if it will need to be done again-so I would rather do it just once. I too went through my closet and my dresser-how liberating that was to throw away all those HUGE underwear and bras~ I was going to have a little burn barrel party for my undergarmets-but threw them in the trash bag instead and told Mel-I will just die if the bag rips and all of those big ol underpants and bras land all over the trash man. She said it would be funny-but I said I will die of embaressment....she asked if I would think it were funny if it happened to her-she already knew the answer!! I think I will bag it twice AND put bleach on the bag so none of the strays out here get into the trash that morning.... I have never seen my dresser so empty~or my closet-and although 3 items I kept are way too big-I just couldnt part with them and think I will keep them as the before outfit, so when I hit my goal-I will be able to have some pics taken in them....... Im counting down the days till the next support meeting and cant wait to see everyone again...I have asked my mom to join me-to get her out and meet some people. She and I are going to start an excercise class together-which her Dr is making her do-due to her diabetes etc....so that will be nice. Well, Im gonna close here and TRY to get some more sleep before the little man wakes up and there is no turning back to sleep land. Have a great Monday and pray for Mel and Terry for a safe trip to her moms and that the procedure goes good. I will post as soon as I talk to her and let everyone know. Love, Jan

Good Morning Ya'll BBBbbbrrrrrrrrrr it's just to darn cold outside I got up and took the dogs out this morning and bout froze my tail off lol Needless to say they didnt waste no time doing their business lol. Well YAY Colts!!!! I always like going for the underdogs, I think the colts did great, I was kinda of worried at the very first place but the colts pulled it off!!! Jan I didnt know ya could just put them in dirt lol silly me, we're gonna get some lil pots today and start planting them. Yeah I bet your getting antsy to get your garden going, I know I am too, I was hoping to at least have it plowed and stuff but guess thats gonna wait til it warms up some. Yup Im feeling better, thank the Lord, I so hated missing the gym but I'll make up for it this week. Getting back to the gym on Saturday felt really good, we went early and it was so nice, only a couple people there. Thats really great Joe is gonna go with ya, maybe it'll help him feel better if he watches what he does, I sure hope so. Janet I know how ya feel about getting up early, for some reason since I've had surgery I wake up between 4 and 5am and just cant go back to sleep. I tried staying up til midnight a couple times but to no avail woke up early again so I dunno what the deal is, lately too I lay in bed an hour before I fall off to sleep, ugh!!! Melissa we'll sure be keeping ya'll and ya mom in our prayers, keep us posted when ya can. Again gurl, your looking terrific, keep up the good work. Well Im gonna go get my day started. I gotta run to walmart this morning after the gym, I bought a couple mini blinds for our bedroom and got the wrong size so I gotta exchange them quick. Have a great day everyone, stay warm!! Hugs and Prayers, Andrew

Good Morning All!!! Jan just wanted t o answer your question concerning plastic surgery. Dr. H says to wait 18 months to 2 years to make sure most or all your weight is lost. You wouldn't be happy if you lost weight and had your surgery and then lost more after and need another. Hope this helps. Hope everyone had a great week-end. My DH helped lay a new wood floor in my DS's house on Saturday and I went shopping with him on Sunday to pick up new ceiling lights, shop for tile for the bath and new wood work for the entire house. He is installing wood floors in the entire house. Looks great. He and my DH has installed all but the 3 bedrooms. They are next week-end. Hugs; Barbara in Freeman

WOOT WOOT ...go Colts!! Hope everyone is warm and safe. My dad is doing well since his surgery. I take him back on Tues. for his follow up. At that appointment, we talk to doctor about my mom having surgery. I go to the doctor on Wed. not the WLS, but another kind of doc. My lil black doggie has a tonsil so swollen, it's the size of a hard boiled egg. I had him at at the vet last week, and she put him on antibiotics, and they are not working I will be calling her again at 9:00 this morning, and probably taking him to a specialist today. I have been having some heart pain issues lately. I have a tear in my heart lining, from years and years of infections setting in on it, and making it weak. It really hurts when I "starts" up. I posted on here about me selling my career clothing, and got an email saying I am not allowed to do that. WOOPS...I didn't know If you guys want to see anything I list them on semo.net under "FORUMS" and then under "CLOTHING" I can not believe the difference in MEL MEL's recent picture. She looks like a totally different person. I know I personally struggled ith posting before and after pics myself. She is really beautiful in her latest pic. HOLY COW... Now, JANET C...stop procrastinating and get your pics uploaded...you are the lone hold out LOL Love you guys, off to call the vet. Sherr

Dear Jan and the Missouri OH Peeps, Well, we all sure loved the ballgame didn't we? I found a treat at Sams, scallops wrapped in bacon, and made them for our dinner/half-time treat. I also made pepperoni chips for me and ate some avocado. A superbowl bash!!! Jan, I'd like two yellow with red stipes tomato plants if you have them. Hope they don't freeze going home from the meeting. Maybe it will be WARM by then. I'm sure tired of this 20 degree or less stuff. But, anything is better than Las Vegas where the temperature from May through October is almost always over 100. I hated that part of living there. Not much going on so I'll sign off and get to work.
