WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Well it may be cold outside but at least we are having some pretty sunshine. My tiny little tomato plants are about 2 inches high now. They are really growing in that warm green house. I think every seed I planted has come up. Want a tomato plant anyone. I may bring some of them to the next meeting if anyone wants one to take home with them and put in a big pot on their patio or in their garden. So if you want one or two or so let me know and I will bring you those at the meeting. Andrew when you all come up to the March meeting I will have you some to take back home with you. I have the yellow with red streaks and big red tomatoes and then I have cherry tomatoes. So you can have your choice or all one kind or what ever. About all I need is couple of each and that will be enough for me lol Received some late birthday cards today and a present from a friend of mine in the mail today . So nice to be thought of isn't it? Julia: I hope you and your sister have a good time in Columbia and you don't get any bad news. What an awful time to be doing laundry , in the middle of the night? But I guess is isn't crowded then is it? That will be nice if you get the apartment next to the pool wont it? You will have a built in place to exercise after surgery. Craig: Wow I cant believed how much you have changed. That is amazing. So glad you got your appointment changed to the 19th with the rest of us. Julia where in Sedalia is a neat place to have a picnic at on the 19th of June? Probably afternoon. I guess everyone just bring what they want to eat and we will just all eat together and talk and visit. Sounds like you are really doing well with your ebay stuff. I have thought about doing that just haven't gotten around to it . Melissa: what was the book you were reading that was so interesting? I am anxious to see your new pics. I know everyone will be surprised since you have lost so much more since the picture you have up now. Yeah I have fixed a big pot of chile for the game tomorrow . GO COLTS!!! I too am excited and happy about all the new people on here but sure would like to see more of the older ones on too. Brenda, Linda, Sherr,Sky, Denna, Tressia,there are more but those are a few off the top of my head. Barbara in Kansas City where are you. Andrew: so glad you are feeling better and getting that infection under control. Im so jealous that you are doing so good at the gymn. Hopefully I will get to go Monday and check it all out over in Branson. Will take a little effort to get there in the mornings but I will do it , Joe said he would do it with me too. So that will help. And it will be good for him too. Well did you get all your spider plants? Tell Susan to start me a little one ok? I use to have a huge one that got stolen from me . yes I am so proud of the Missouri board. Everyone needs to check out some of these other boards they are boring lol. We got it going on. Janet: She loves us so much that she posts two times lol. So how old is your oldest daughter Janet. Isnt it awesome that you can do all those things with your kids that you couldn't do for so long. I know I can play with my great niece and she thinks it is great. She said Mimi you are so skinny now. You can play with me cant you? I told her yeah baby Mimi can play with her baby girl now and have fun and not hurt. Hey don't feel like your kids don't need you I think they will always need you. I know mine do. And they are grandparents them selves or at least 2 of them are. Lol Rachael: So sorry that your sister still hasn't gotten her car back. I hope the police find it for her. Was it a new car? I hope she has full coverage on it so that it can be replaced. I hope you had fun with your kids this week end. Glad your mom is doing ok. Has she come home yet? Tell her sip and walk and sip and walk. I bet your husband really is working overtime with all the things that will be bought for the supper bowl game. Have you all noticed that America cant do or have any holiday or celebration or anything without food being the center of attention. It is no wonder that we are all fat. Good Morning Jan and all, I am finally going to venture out of the house today. My daughter is picking me up to go to her house. If I didn't already have bad luck now my car is broke down!! I have to have it towed to Sedalia monday and hopefully my brother will be able to fix it. I pray it isn't rediculous in price. We are having problems with the water pump and probally have to have the computer reset. Don't really know for sure. Just another headache along the road of life. I like both teams playing tommorow but am leaning a little toward the Colts. I like Tony Dungey the coach. He has had a rough road lately with the loss of his son. So just feel like he deserves this win. But I have always liked the Bears, they are the ones that got me watching football in the first place. Jan fresh tomatoes sound soooooo goooood! But then I look outside and just shudder!!But it would be nice to have your own green house cause when you go in it , it would feel like spring was already here. Hope everyone is doing well. Julia

Well Praise the Lord What a beautiful but cold Sunday Morning. Im sittin here at my desk looking out the window and it's just so pretty out with the sun starting to come up over the hill, I just wi**** was a bit warmer but before we know it spring will be upon us and all of its glorious beauty. Jan it's just amazing how you can grow things, God has given you such a gift. Here in the dead of winter your out there growing tomatoe plants lol We went yesturday and picked up the spider plant starts, she had just clipped them off of her huge spider plant, she gave us about 15 lil starts, I wet a paper towel and wrapped a lil piece around the stem of each one and have em sitting in a lil dish of water, I hope thats right, thats how I seen my mom do it before anyway. Jan your welcome to more then just one lil start, we'll bring ya a few when we come up in March. Im sure glad your gonna get to go check out a gym, I know its a bit of a drive for ya but you'll see it'll be worth it. We drive about 17 miles one way to the gym and just love it. I really missed going when I was sick, I finally go to start up again yesturday, boy do I feel it today but it's a good feeling. I was able to do 40 mins of cardio after my workout. Thats great Joe is gonna try it with ya, it really does make a difference to have a partner, I dont think I'd go as steady as we do if it wasnt for Susan going with me. Melissa, THANK YOU so much for the sweet get well card, that was just soooooooooo nice of ya!!! It really made my day Your such an amazing blessing!!! I forgot to mention I had a WOW moment yesturday. We had to stop by Walmart while we were out yesturday and I decided to by a pair of sweat pants there. Well usually I have to buy them from a big mans store and pay $20 or better for them. I started out wearing a 7X sweat pant and now Im down to wearing a 4X but still stores around here only go up to a 3X that I have found. So while at Walmart I told Susan Im gonna buy a pair of the 3X sweat pants for $5.98 and see what happens, if I cant get into them I will soon. Well when I get home I tried them puppies on and THEY FIT I was like OMG LoL They arent even snug, they fit perfect...WOOT WOOT!!! I couldnt believe that now I can at least buy sweat pants at WALMART, YAY!!!! There's another store in Farmington "Value City" that sells jeans in a size 56, thats my next goal, no more buying clothes at the big mans stores WOOT WOOT!!! I just had to share that, Andrew

Happy Sunday Jan and OH Peeps~ Sorry, really didnt realize I posted twice-but then again-what better board to do that with-LOL~~ You all know I am a ding dong!! Jan-would LOVE to have a tomato plant or two-I love to make home made salsa and stewed tomatos! Thanks-that will be so great. Well, yesterday turned out okay after all....I went to pick up my daughter (she was with her dad at his moms house) and when I got there...I left the car running and went to the door to pick her up-and there was so many people I havent seen in over 10 years and LOTS of babies I have never met-and I got rushed with people hugging me and telling me how much they missed me-even the ex mother in law. I was taken back!! There were 16 kids in that house-and I only knew 5 of them...so it was so nice to get to know them and visit with people that I have known since I was like 12 years old (too old to say how long! LOL) I ended up there for over 2 hours and probably could have stayed longer, but needed to go to the store and get home and fix dinner for the guys. So, that was nice for me, and for my daughter as well. Jan-my oldest daughter will be 21 in May. We are going to be meeting with her aunt (who is a wedding planner and doing the work as a gift) in the next week or so to get the ball rolling.....I should be bankrupt by July-LOL!! Andrew-congrats on the sweats-what a wonderful feeling!! I have been afraid to even try anything on at Walmart-but you have given me the inspiration to go and see!! Yesterday at the house they took pictures of me-and it was a digital camera and I got to see them right away and I could not believe the difference in my face since November-WOW....I just sat there-and fought back the tears. I have a chin now and I have dimples-and a jaw bone-WOW....I guess 90# will do that-huh? I know I still have a ways to go-but the journey is easier when you feel good about yourself, thats for sure!! Well, better go-making breakfast for the family and have to get those vitamins and shake in-Have a great day everyone! Jan

Good Afternoon Everyone: Well I just got home. We went to church this morning. It has been almost a year since I have went to my old church. It sure felt good to see some of our brothers & sisters again. Got lots of complements and of course that really made me feel good. My head was so swelled that I almost didnt make it out the door. NOT!! Then we stopped at Starbucks (thanks Janet, she's got me hooked). Went over to my F-I-L's house cleaned and ran to Wal Mart for him. Now were home and I am getting ready to change clothes. Start a load of darks. And get into some comfy clothes. I will pack my clothes hopefully before the game. DH & I are headed to my parents house in the morning and will be back on Wed. My mother has to go into the hospital and have an out patient surgery. So I wanna be down there for that. Every time I talk to her she ask me are you on your way down?? lol I downloaded a new photo but I must of not done it right. I will try again when I come back if it hasnt changed over by then. I hope you all have a good day. I will keep in touch with Janet and see if she will post or me on how my mother is doing. Love ya'll Melissa
