WHATS HAPPENING -------SATURDAY

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Had a uneventful Friday-except that someone was at my door at 1:30 pm-and I go to the door (thinking to myself I didnt hear a car come up the driveway) and it was the kids-they got off school early cause it was the first Friday of the month-believe it or not-I just chuckled to myself!! Their school always has 1/2 day the first Friday of the month, but I figured with 13 snow days-they would make it up that way-NO WAY!! So, we got cleaned up and went to WalMart before dropping my daughter off at her aunts to go to the viewing last night and then they went to my oldest daughters work afterwards and had some pizza with their dad and his siblings. The girls handled it very well and so I dont have to go to the funeral today, but I did have some flowers sent to let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers. What a hard thing to go through. Would like to see some of the ex's family before they go back to their homes, but feel ackward....I dont know-maybe will get around today or tomorrow to ask where they are staying and if we can get together. I got to give my 4 yr old a piggy back ride through the house last night-and I have never been able to do that before-and it was so great....I am really enjoying things that I never even knew I missed before

So-today I am going to be cleaning and laundry and take a long awaited soothing shower-since hubby is home and he can entertain the 4 yr old while I enter the bathroom without assistance (LOL) and believe me...I know-I may joke around a lot, but I wouldnt trade ANY of my kids for anything in this world-because the joy and love that they give-makes my life worth living, each and every day-whether its a hectic day or not-I know we will look back and go....remember when? I already feel so good when the kids are all in the house at the same time and we are all together. Its hard when they start leaving the nest and dont need ya anymore-(wiping away a tear!) Good afternoon Missouri...... Sorry to post so late in the day but I have been busy with the kiddos today.....Took my daughter to the ER yesterday afternoon and they tested her for RSV but it came back negative....the doctor said that her ears are clear and so is her chest that all the nasal congestion and runny nose at the same time is from her teething....she is doing a little better today...at least she has eatin' a little food today....thank goodness.... I also have a little boy over that is Dalton's friend....he has spent the day with us...they just made chocolate chip cookies and they are waiting for them to cool off and they each want a glass of milk....the little boys aunt has been getting Dalton on the bus for me in the mornings so I decided to give her a break today.....Dalton and him get along great...... Hubby is at work as usual.....It is a long weekend for him since it is superbowl.....with him being the deli department manager he has been very busy the last couple of days....he had to make over 150 sub sandwiches.....and tonight of course when he gets done with his regular job he has to do his vending jobs..... Talked to my mom earlier and she said that she slept really good last night in the chair and she was going to get a shower today.....she is making sure she is sipping away.....I went and bought her some sugar free jello last night and took it to the house for her...... Also talked to my sister and she still has not heard anything about her car.....I told her last night to keep her chin up that is was just the devil trying to get into her spirit.... Well I better run for now, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.....got the tub soaking for a good scrubbin...... God bless to everyone and their families....
