WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY.

Now this weather can stop anytime now if it wants. I really am tired of all this cold aren't you. I know I want some warm weather. Heck im even looking forward to hot summer this year. I hopefully it wont hurt me like it has before surgery. The Snow started about noon yesterday here and it was still snowing at 10pm last night when I looked out...don't know how much snow we have now but at 10 we had about 4 inches. I guess the lower part of Missouri is getting it this time. At least it isn't ice. The county truck with the grader on it went by my house about 10 last night, also spreading salt . Don't know if the schools in Forsyth will be closed tomorrow or not. I want to ask you all to pray for my son and his wife please. She said that she has ask him to move out as soon as they get their income tax money back so he can have enough to get him a place. Don't know what it is about but just please pray for them. She had surgery 2 years ago and has really lost a lot weight. Just is heavy on my heart . I know that we cant do anything about what is happening in our kids lives but it still causes a mother to feel sad. Sugar: Yippee so finally now you know for sure that you have March 7th as your surgery date. I am excited for you. Rachael: Hope your mother is doing well after her surgery yesterday. Treece: If everyone on here hasn't voted for you they should. Go to her post and listen to this girl sing. She is good Andrew: Well glad that you found out what was causing the pain and fever. You should start feeling better in a couple of days. LOL Susan thought she could get ahead of you now while you are sick. Go Susan!!! Drink some cranberry juice if you can find some that is 100%juice. Lol that is what I said I should have built the green house big enough to put in a pool and grow flowers all around it. That would have been cool huh? Joe's doing fine but told me to tell you he wasn't ready for the polar bear club but would do it if you would. But he wants you to jump in first. Lol Debbie: you are still needing pain meds? How come? Are you hurting that bad? Maybe you need to call Doctor if you are. I never even got mine filled when they gave me the prescription I put it in my purse and didn't get it. Hope you feel better soon. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Janet: sounds like you have been very busy since your surgery. Maybe you need to slow down and smell the roses or snow flakes or something. So what did you decide about your former friend? Maybe you should give her another chance , not to hurt you but to see if she is really sorry the way she treated you. Friends are hard to find sometimes and no one ever has enough of them do we? Yes you are right a true friend might have said I don't agree with what you are wanting to do but I am here for you no matter what. Maybe she hadn't learned that lesson yet tho. Hope you didn't have to get out in this mess yesterday or last night. Vesta: I planted the flower seeds and labeled them Vesta. Lol So what ever they are will be named in my garden Vesta. Looks like we got plenty of snow this time doesn't it? Melissa: thanks love the well wishes and funnys you always put online. Hope you got everything done yesterday as today might not be too good for running errands. Tami: yes I just found out this stuff about poison ivy today right before you posted that it is on a web site about it. I really always thought that it was very contagious. And now after all this time I find out it isn't. lol Well phooey Thanks for the information tho and I hope that everyone learns from it. It is hard to change people's minds about something that they have been told all their lives. Yeah this site says the weeping part is fluids from your body not the poison ivy so it doesn't spread like that. It went on to say a lot of other stuff about the different things too. It is very interesting article. Wow you sure are exercising a lot. 80minutes??? Good grief if I could do 10 I would think I was doing great I have found a place in Branson that I can go too tho. So I will be able to say im exercising with you all too soon. Sherr: yeah snowing it sure is pretty tho isn't it. Glad your dad is better and don't you know that guys always play the hurt card big time.? Well if school is out you can have your son run over and help out grandpa some too. Lol Good to see you . Im sorry to hear your news Jan- It always hurts my heart to hear of a marriage breaking up. I do hope, that if its for the best, that they work it out, if not, I hope they have peace. My thoughts are with you.

Good Moring Everyone: Well I am headed off to bed and thougth I would drop a few lines. Seems like morning are always so rushed here. Maybe thats cause my brain refuses to wake up. lol It is still snowing here in Joplin. We received approx 3 inches of snow here. Going to head over to my F-I-L's house in the morning to check on him and get some grocery for him. Didnt make it to the beauty palor yesterday. Sources reveal the sister was not as accurate as Lorena. She allegedly missed the target and stabbed her husband in the upper thigh causing severe muscle and tendon damage. Hey Jan, sorry about your kids breaking up... never a good thing.. it's so hard nowadays. Thanks for yours and everyone else's votes!! I won't know until Monday where I stand.. bummer! But it was fun and thanks anyway! As far as weight goes I am doing good, I am down 46 lbs in 5 weeks and I just love shopping in my closet.. I am wearing stuff already that I haven't worn in years.. it is sooooooooooo cool! My husband is like "how many times u gonna change clothes??" hee-hee.. Thanks for all of your support! Good Morning Ya'll, Well this weather is for the birds, I take that back, the birds dont even like this weather lol. Looks as tho we got around 2 - 3 inches of snow. I was like Sherr, I didnt know it was snowing last night til we had an inch or so already, silly stuff! Jan im feelin much better already, been drinkin as much water as I can get in plus I did find some 100% cranberry juice and have drank a couple glasses of that, sure is hard getting in all this liquid plus my protein shakes, once I get all that in Im sure not hungry. I was gonna get out and go to the gym this morning but with this stuff we'll see. Our road hasnt been plowed yet but it still early. AAHH Ha...Joe wants me to jump in first so he can see me turn blue LOL Those people are just crazy to jump in water in the middle of winter lol Well Im gonna go start on my water comsumption and get a shake, stay warm and safe for those that have to get out in this. Hello Jan and Fellow OH Peeps~ Just let me say I have HAD ENOUGH with this weather....my kids have had "13" snow days so far since December 2nd, and I bet tomorrow will be another-since we live in the middle of nowhere!! We never even got our roads cleared after the ice, just had to wait for it to melt off-which is okay-except with all the trees around-it never was totally cleared before the snow came!! My kids will be going to school all summer!! I have gone to HAWAII in my head about a dozen times since last night. We have abt 5 inches here and I am hoping and praying the propane man doesnt get that big ol' truck stuck this time (last time he slid in the ditch and had to be picked up!) We are suppose to be getting more today-I hope its nothing big! Jan-so sorry to hear about your son and wife. I will say prayers for them and pray that they can work it out.... Sugar-a date-how cool.....its going to seem like the time drags on at times, but its here before you know it!! Congrats!! Andrew-so glad your feeling better....I had to take that Cipro too-and it seemed like as soon as I would get done cutting up that pill and taking it-I was taking it again.... Sherr-I had to laugh at Jans response-told ya guys were like that! Hope he didnt drive your mom and you too crazy!! Yesterday was sure eventful and I didnt leave my house! My ex called because his stepdad passed away yesterday morning-and instead of just coming to attend the funeral-he packed everything he owned in his car-and is moving back....no job, no place to live....I just barely started getting child support again the end of November! Anyhow-the most disgusting thing is that on Jan 1st he started insurance on the girls, and the 16 yr old had an oral surgeon appt for Feb 13th, a consult cause she needs all 4 wisdom teeth pulled-and now we will have to cancel, cause I cant afford to pay for it out of pocket, and the insurance wont be in effect IF he doesnt go back to work!!The kids werent close to his stepdad-only saw him on Chrismas Eve, and thats it, but they will go to the funeral Saturday to pay their respects. We had to postpone the slumber party for Steph again-as it was going to be this weekend, but between the viewing Fri night and funeral Sat, we thought it would be better to wait!!! Heck, maybe we should wait and just have a nice pool party....I cant even look over at the pool when I go outside-cause it makes me want to cry...LOL.. I decided about the friend deal, that I will be nice (cause thats my way-and hush Sherr and Mel!) but that I really dont want to be close to her again or to be really good friends, because I really just wont be able to get past that trust issue. I know that good friends/friends are hard to come by-and what I lost back in 2005 has returned to me ten-fold by the people I have met here on line and in person. I have people I have never even met through this site that blessed me with cards and calls and we stay in touch, and even call each other all the time-so I just basically feel like there is nothing missing in my life friend wise-and I love Carol, and I wish her well, but I dont want to go down that road again....Besides-I would rather have a handful of REALLY good friends, than 100 "friends" like they were to me. Had she approached me with the "I am sorry for not being there etc" it may have been different, but her excuse was she has been busy...well-I KNOW about being busy-and I try to ALWAYS make time for my friends...thats all. Well, I hope everyone stays warm and safe today IF you have to venture outside..... may go out and build a snowman with the kids this afternoon!!
