~*~*Wow Moment*~*~

Okay I had another WOW moment yesterday. While DH & I was running around we went to Lane Bryant. Well they had their jeans on sell and I thought I would try a pair on to see how close I am to actually getting into a pair of regular jeans. Knowing in my head that they werent going to fit just wanting to see how much futher I had to go. You know the ones with the zipper and button. No elastic at all in them!!!! THEY FIT!!!!! "As Janet says I am busting a move" I have went from 34/36W in streach cotton pants. To a 28 "petite" in regular JEANS!!!!! I havent been into a pair of jeans since I was in my teens. Almost 20 years ago. I cried all the way out the store and home. But it wasnt tears of happiness it was cause I felt guilty to spend the $$ on myself. Needless to say DH wasnt very happy with me he took the tags and receipts off the clothes so I cant take them back. lol Love ya'll Melissa

MELISSA!!!!!!! THAT'S SOOOOOOO COOOOL!!!!!!! And I have to say, more husband's should be like yours!! lol Just a warning girl.....NOW is the time to have those guilt-free shopping sprees, BEFORE the KIDS come along!! Cause THAT'S when the REAL guilt comes in! lol You have to celebrate a milestone like this one and what a better way than to have those JEANS that truley symbolize how far you've come!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!! They have some damn good sales there sometimes and you may be able to get more bang for your buck other days but a good healthy SPLURGE.......YOU DESERVED IT!!!! (my 20/22 jeans were elastic, I wasn't shaped right for the regular ones so I KNOW what this means to you! no matter how regular they try to make elastic jeans look, I just knew everyone could tell what I had on and WHY) Hugs, Tami

Mel-good girl for posting that WOW moment BEFORE I got home and was forced to do it for ya. I was so EXCITED for her that I couldnt wait for her to post it-so I threatened to post it for her!!! I have to say-every time I see her-she is shrinking faster than I can even comprehend with my own eyes....Mel-you are such a warm and GIVING person and so IF anyone deserves to buy themselves some NEW clothes-it would be you-besides-we said when you hit that 200# gone mark, we were gonna do something special.... I cant wait to go and get REAL jeans too-only I will bring you, cause Mike doesnt really care to shop- Tell Terry that I am proud of him for taking off the tags and for standing by while you were crying and sniffling-knowing you DESERVE it!! I love you so much best bud, that when I win the lottery-we will be tearing up ALL of the stores and getting all kinds of cool stuff for our trip to Hawaii, with the waiter dressed in nothing but a loin cloth, and drinks with umbrellas and another person to fan us in the sun-(who has to know that we are dumping the drinks as fast as they bring them to us-just to make them bring more??? no one but us!!! lol) Is it getting HOT in here? LOL!!! By then, we can shop at ANY store-and have mercy on the sales people that day, huh?? You are one of my biggest inspirations and I love ya with all of my heart-I am SO PROUD to be your friend!! I am so proud of you!!! Cant wait to come and see those jeans and borrow them one day when I lose more weight and some of my heigth (haha) just kidding!! Love, Jan

Dear Mel Mel~Would NEVER call "you" short-I would consider you vertically challenged!! Thats not a BAD thing-there are several perks to that-for instance-YOU probably dont almost knock yourself out on the door of the car when you bend down and put your credit card back in your wallet while getting gas-do you? ~or~ you can ride those FUN kid rides and no one thinks twice about how your hovering over the other people, huh?? Now, you know Im just kidding~~ you know I love ya and I have to give you crap sometimes....I did get the email about the housework hunks-but still would love to see the car wash one! My car would be the cleanest vehicle in this area. Heck, I would drive up the driveway and then I would have to turn around and go back!! Besides-I know that saying about small packages! LOL...get your mind out of the gutter I was thinking about when I get earrings or something- sicko's. Love ya. Jan

Melissa, I'm so excited for you. I bought the perfect black pants at Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago and I intentionally bought them one size smaller than I'm wearing now because I want to be able to wear them awhile. But JEANS are the bomb and you are the bomb for getting a pair with a big girl zipper and everything. WOO HOO, I know guys just don't understand this but Terry is the best and loves you so much and good for him to understand you needed to celebrate where you are now!!! Hugs to you. Lana
