New Start Program

Has any one had problems with the St Louis New Start office calling you back? My daughter and I went to the Southern Il wlls info meeting last Thursday, Dr Wagner and the New Start Office staff were there. My daughter called Friday New Start and then again today, moe than once both days, No ones returns calls? She will be a self pay so insurance problems don't have to be a problem! I had wls almost 4 yrs ago, Dr Wagner had just came to New Start. I got the same results then, the office staff not calling me back or being rude ect... Back then they also had problems with wls Dr's coming and going, Because of all this conflict I had my wls in Kansas! My daughter likes Dr Wagner but if New Start is going to act like she does not matter, its a great possibility she just may go to my wls Dr Hoehn in Kaaansas! But really who wants to drive 5 hrs, make a few vists before surgery to Kansas then stay in a hotel in Kansas for 9 days, hospital stay then recover for 1 week before going to see wls Dr then going home, then follow up visits! Boy it would be so much easier to do it in St Louis which is 20 min away! I have heard alot of good things about Dr Wagner! But am not thinking highly of New Start! Now or 4 yrs ago! Calgone Take Me Away! How I do not want to relive my night mare of the journey of trying to get wls surgery! See ya lighter! CYNDI

Cyndi there are other programs in St. Louis arent there? My sister is going to DePaul and everything thing that she has called them about or emailed them about they have gotten back with her most of the time within a few hours at most. Jan

I am going through NewStart and having some problems with them calling you back. I know that Barnes has a program because I work for Wash U but I prefer NewStart because I have heard such great things about them as opposed to Barnes.

I'm going through New Start Now and once all my paper work was in I did not have any trouble. I know they have girls who come in and make calles for them and if I missed a call I would call back. I'm metting with Dr. Richardson today.
