Does Dr. Hargroder in Joplin still do the MGB?

New here and researching all the options. I know Dr. Hargroder is no longer associated with CLOS, but does anyone know if he is still doing the surgery? Maybe it's cheaper now??? TIA, Crystal

Crystal I live in Joplin so Hello neighbor. I have no idea if Dr. Hargroder is or not. Just call up his office and ask him. He did 2 of my hernia repairs. But I went up to Columbia for my WLS. Good Luck and we hope to see you on the board more often. Take Care Melissa

Hi Crystal, I live in Joplin as well. Not being negative but I heard that Hargroder had too many bad results and had to quit doing the MGB. Their are some good surgeons fairly close to here. I go to Dr.Gorospe in Tulsa .He has over 30years of experience. I'll be having my surgery on Feb.14th. There are also some doctors in Springfield,Columbia,KC,St.Louis,Sedalia. Ask around on this board and you'll get lots of doctor names to try out. Glad to have you join our board. This board is really great. Everyone is so supportive and full of information and experience.Not to mention that this board has one of the strongest prayer chains there is. Welcome! Dannielle
