Wasn't yesterday one of the most beautiful days ever? Thank you Jesus for such a great day. My thermometer on the back porch said at 3 pm 60 degrees. So warm sitting in the sunshine if you were out of the wind. The green house was so hot I had to turn the heater off, about 10am. But all good things much come to an end I guess. Only suppose to get to 38 today here and with a chance of light snow, lol can you believe that? Well it is winter yet after all. What does everyone have planned for the week-end? I have no idea. Lol Other than play in the greenhouse. Still have more plants to get started. I got on line yesterday and ordered more trays so will have to move things around in there before long. Put all my big plants on the ground or somewhere. I am so glad that Debbie is thru with her surgery and hope she does really well . They said she might get to go home this morning if all was well. Im sure she will be ready to go too. Andrew and Susan thanks for letting us know what all was going on with her , you did a great job. Also I want to thank you for my beautiful birthday card. I really appreciate it. Love you guys. Barbara Scott: hey great to see you back online. I was wondering where you had gone too. Glad the computer was fixed or replaced or what ever. I know I am totally lost without my computer when it breaks down. I feel like something is totally wrong with everything. Lol Claudette: Janet: How was the dinner at Melissas house. I bet she is a good cook , right? Hey mel where is our invites? You sounds like young mothers everywhere. Always busy and most of the time with things for other people. Nice tha you could get out for the night. Well tell your kids happy birthday from all of us. Lana:Oh I sure wish I had someplace that I could go do water aerobics or something on a daily basis. Would be nice but I don't I am one of these people that love to execise but I (have ) to have others around to do it with. By myself it is too easy to just fluff it off. I wish I didn't but I have always been that way. I try but it is such a hit and miss thing. Rebecca: Oh another gardner? That is my passion, gardening. Sometime you will have to come visit me this spring and see my gardens. A new house is quite a challenge , a clean slate well I assumed it was a newly built house. Is it an older one that already has some landscaping done. Either way it can be quite the challenge to put your mark on it as your personality. Some people the surgery process has taken up to a year and longer. So don't get discouraged . Melissa: So the process of moving continues huh? Hopefully we have no more ice storms to slow you down this time. I really don't envy you having to go thru all of that stuff and decide what to keep and what to sell would be a big problem if you have lived there for a long time. Take care and DO NOT pick up anything too heavy. Im sure you hear that all the time huh? I will be glad when we can sit up our pools again huh Melissa? Will be a few months till then I guess. I have posted the Birthday list as I have it. There have been some additions since. Once a week or so I will remind anyone that hasn't given my their birthdate to do so and the end of each month I will update the list so everyone can revise theirs. Will try to remember to look at it daily to see if any one is having a birthday and give a shout out to them. Makes for a special day for the birthday person would think. Since I posted the list have gotten quite a few additions and changes. So Keep them coming and on Jan 31st I will post a new list and on the last of each month there after will post it ok. Keep sending me the birthdays. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Morning Momma J. IT's 37 here this morning....hoping it get's nicer and warmer today! Mom and I have been going up to my dad's commerical warehouse (((where my stuff was in storage when I moved back here)))) all week and getting loads of my stuff, and bringing it to my workshop... My dad should have his old Appliance store building leased this week, with a new business and he told me to get alllll my stuff out of his warehouse.... Blek, I hate moving, of any kind.... Maybe it will warm up soon and I can start selling some of this junk. LOL Hopefully, my set up will be good...I have 3 gates on my fence, with a double wide one coming off my lil workshop. I figure if I put out a "YARD SALE" sign w/ arrows, people will come to that double gate, and I will set up my patio off the workshop with the stuff.... And at the end of the day, I can just close up everything. Sounds good on "paper" anyway LOL I LOVE to Garden, I was an avid garderner in Atlanta, Momma J. but that was a different climate than here, so I will re-learn what works here this year. I AM IN LOVE WITH TOAD LILIES....I can't afford to buy any but saw them in the Michigan Book, (((which I have always loved since a child)))) and fell in love with them. I like my things to lean toward the "COOL" colors, blues, purples, pinks, and my mom likes the warms, oranges, yellows, reds..... Toad Lilies are incredible looking.... Hope everyone is having a great day! Sherr

Good Morning Jan and Fellow OH Peeps, What a gloomy day so far!! I went out to start laundry (which is off the garage and away from the house-argh!) and there were little hail/ice balls coming down. I asked my hubby to verify this and he did!! It has stopped-but I just want another day like yesterday (jumping up and down and pouting!) LOL Dinner with Mel and Terry isnt until tonite-my parents are keeping ALL 3 of the kids, so my husband and I will have the house to ourselves...its been a LONG time-so I guess we will get plenty of sleep/rest (wink wink) Jan-Mel is an excellent cook-she had us over in Oct and made chili and my hubby went nuts and informed her-in front of me, that her chili was a lot better than mine. I still have to get that recipe. She loves to cook, and me, not so much. I do have some dishes I make really well-but, for the most part, I am NO EMERIL, thats for sure!! We had them over on New Years Eve and I made manicotti, which is one of my specialties-and I was happy to find out that she hadnt made it for Terry yet-or hers would have been better, Im sure-LOL. Dont worry about her lifting and all of that-there are too many people who would kick her butt. I have already volunteered my oldest 3 kids to help them and my hubby as well-I cant lift a lot myself-but am more than willing to help her pack and unpack. My oldest, who will be 21 and her fiance, then my 16 yr old and 13 yr old can help them out a lot. I will report on board IF SHE DOESNT BEHAVE...cause now I have backup!! Well, I have to do laundry today, go shopping, get the kids to my parents and shop for the little guys b-day tomorrow-all before going to Mels for dinner. The hubby is out pig hunting this morning, helping a friend whose property is being destroyed by the pigs and starting to ruin his cattle farm/property..so I wont see him until this afternoon sometime.... I think the biggest challenge today will be finding something to wear! I tried on a lot of clothes yesterday that I had boxed up from 8-9 yrs ago....and they were too big!! Im gonna be in trouble soon...or in jail for indecent exposure!! LOL Hope everyone has a good day and Be safe!! Jan

Good Morning Everyone: Talk about wishy washy weather. I loved yesterday it was so beatiful out. Late into the night when I went to bed I could still hear the water drip from off the house. I can actually see most of my yard again. DH & I went out on errands last night after his wrestleing (9ish). Got to see alot of new stores that I didnt even know we had here in town. Feels good to be out again. Well today is a full day. I am headed to the flea market. Looking for my F-I-L some more books. He loves Louie Lamour (sp) books. So usually we go pick up 3 or 4 books every other week. Before all he would do is sleep. Now at least he is reading and I (personally) think reading is good for the mind. Then it is off to the la te da shop for new oil to burn. Then hom,e to straighten up (DH's job) and I am going to get supper ready for company tonight!!! Yea!! On the menu tonight is Homemade Lasagna, salad, & fresh garlic toast. YUMMY!!! Okay need to get up and get moving. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!! So glad to hear the good news about Debbie. Take care have fun but stay out of trouble. lol Love ya'll Melissa ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby, and said, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today." After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map correctly fitted together. . The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. "Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together." Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good Mornin Buddy, yesterday was a busy day for me. I sat in the hospital while my neice had gall bladder surgery, It was different not being a patient this time. Alot of the nurses I know were flirting with me telling me I have bird legs now LOL...I went out to get my sister and I some coffee, I asked the Nurse if that was ok and she said yes but wait a minute. You dont mean the lady in bed do you? .. I said NO, that is my neice...I told my sister and she laughed so hard, jokingly said I should go smack her for that...My sister told me she was proud of me because little brothers are suppose to be "littlier". I got to see my nephews and their wives and kids...My nephews are big boys now they weight 300 lbs but they are not all fat they are just tall and buff...One gave me a hug before leaving and said "Uncle i can get my arms around you now":...I love so much to beable to get out now and visit. Seems like Ive lost out on so many things over the 9 years being sick....Another week and Ive had my trach now for 9 years..Doesnt seem possible...Time flys but hope to have it out soon...I need to get ahold of Dena to get my appt set for June 19th so I can come be with you all during the picnic...I cant wait to see you all....Iam hoping to bring my sister Leta... Yesterday I hit the 140lbs lost mark...I now weight 258.0lbs right on the mark....Had to cut my belt down it got to big and not enough holes so i had to make some more...NOW its time to go get new pants again Dont want to lose these like I did the first time. its to cold for that LOL....God Bless and Love you all...Craig Lee

Hello everyone, I'm so cold today. Brrrrrr!!! This has been a really busy week at MSU. With school delayed for the ice storm it made this week crazy. I got up this AM and went to the gym and walked 1/2 hour on the tread. I like it there because they have lots of TVs and I don't get bored. I'm going to up the time tomorrow. I'll let you know when I work out. Tuesday is our wellness fair at work and they are going to tell us what we need to do to be more healthy. I don't think I'll tell them about my surgery and then when I've lost weight they'll be amazed!!! I'm so onery. Glad Deb is doing so well. I stayed two nights at the hospital and I'd have stayed another if I thought I needed it. They have the good drugs there and also monitor you so well. Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday. Hugs and love. Lana
