HOLD ME TO IT!!!!

Alright friends, I want you all to help hold me accountable to my exercise program! I go to Chesterfield Family Center in Springfield to do water aerobics and water yoga and a water resistance walk....I need to go at least 3-4 days a week.......BUG ME PLEASE!! If I don't keep at it I wont be able to keep in shape before surgery. With this weather, all I want to do is hunker down stay in and So dont let the ole keep me occupied. PLEASE keep me on the straight and narrow. I love you all and know that we can keep each other motivated to do our best....... NOW ALL OF YOU GET UP AND GO DO SOMETHING!!!!!!! and SUGAR

I'd suggest you get to know someone in your class too...jsut introduce yourself right off and tell them your dilemma...I bet there is someone who like you may be scared they won't make it that often and you both BUG each other! I know if Jim weren't dragging me to the gym at least 4 times a week I wouldn't be going quite so often......it's HARD to get there but once there don't you REALLY enjoy it?! I LOVE water aerobics, taught it before my WLS and LOVED it then. How about we add an EXERCISE CONFESSION?LOG to Jan's daily What's Happening? We who want to, could just add to it what we did the day before for exercise. Those who don't work out all the time can just do the usual stuff. That's an EASY way for us to track each other, what do ya think? Good LUCK! Tami

Tami I think it is a great idea. I find that I am one to put off and put off things (like exercise). But once I get started then I enjoy it so much and it becomes such a routie that I feel guilty when I miss a day. Thanks for the great idea Melissa

sounds like a good idea Tami. I guess im sort of lazy when it comes to exercise and dont like doing it by myself at all . And i can always come up with a million excuses why not to. lol Jan

I was kind of the lazy one too not wanting to exercise, my wife keeps me on my toes and gets me moving, like Melissa said tho once I get to the gym and do my workout and cardio Im sooooo glad I did and feel so much better, it's so well worth getting out and exercising, you wont regret it at all!!!! Sugar, I know that having to go to the gym 3-4 times a week before surgery really helped me so I'll try to keep asking how you're doing. I'm back to the gym, walked 1/2 hour this AM. I plan to go Sat, Sun, Tues PM and Thurs PM. It's a drag but we have to do it to keep ourselves healthy to enjoy our new bodies. Hugs and love. Hey girl, sounds like you are pretty motivated. I wish we could download some motivation continuousley everynight from somewhere so we stay on the straight and narrow. Congrats on getting the go for surgery. I knew it would be okay. I went back and looked at you scan, did he tell you it appeared to be calcium deposits....which is normal and harmless. I will call this week sometime to check you schedule for a lunch date. Talk later, Tara
