Hi all, yesterday my daughter came by to get me and said we are going to Mingo Wildlife Refuge to take pictures. She has a big camera and is hooked on photography and loves to go to Mingo and take pictures, she says early morning is best all the animals are out then, but we went in the afternoon and saw a couple of deer, 1 bald eagle alot of ducks and geese, Had fun though, she knows I can't do a lot now. I think I have gained about 10 pounds , just enough to make everything uncomfortable, like walking and doing housework. I am not used to setting so much usually work in my yard or redecorating a room. I have a big Koi pond and last year a made a large rock waterfall for it. If March 20 th doesn't come soon I am going to lose it, not used to sitting so much, but don't have the energy to do anything and my back hurts. I decided to start drinking a lot of water and doing protein drinks, I have to try something different, oh and taking my vitamins, so I will stop complaining , thanks for listening. Cathy

We had a friend who use to give tours of Mingo Swamp. He was from that area early in life. He and his family had a saw mill there once upon a time. In the spring as the dogwood trees were in bloom. Claude would load a car up at 6 AM and off we would go down 55. We would eat breakfast in Ozaro then cut inthrough the back roads winding and curving thru on a full belly. If you could make it to Duck Creek with out throwing up you won the prize. We then got the full tour with history included. An enjoyable day to be sure ending with a stop at Lamberts and the ride home. Claude is ailling now and his time here is almost up but the memories he gave us will live on.

It is good to practice what you'll be doing for the rest of your life. Practice eating slowly and small bites and try to stop drinking with meals and stop caffiene and colas. Go carefully on purchasing protein powder as I liked chocolate before surgery and can't choke it down now. Who'd have thought. Good luck and prayers for the time to go quickly. Lana
