Back on the band wagon
It has been almost 2 years ago that I first started looking into weightloss surgery. I now am married and have different insurance. As of this year my insurance is coving the surgery. My insurance just reqires me to go to a certian hospital. University of MO hospital is the closest one to me. I am from Kansas City, Ks. My insurance will also pay for up to $5,000 in traveling expenses. I'm so excited. My primary Care Doctor has been praying for this right along with me for a long time.
Has anyone here use UOM Hospital. What can you tell me about your experiance. How long did it take from seminar date to the time you had your surgery. Thanks so much. Please will free to email me at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

I was at UOM back in April of last year and back again in November. Both times I had the best nurses looking out for me. My DH (dear hubby) got to stay in the room with me both times. Never really had any major complaints so to speak. Who is your surgeon going to be?? I had Dr. Scott and think he is just simply WONDERFUL!!! But I know there are also alot of others that work under him and are great too.
