Deb I did have the same problem as you described when I took the Citrate Mag. The first one I took I gulped it down and it made me sick, the second one after 2 hours hadnt worked, then finally at 4am the morning of surgery it worked some. The nurse that was checking me in for surgery told me that it was due to not having anything in my system to begin with. I'll be looking for your email.
