WHATS HAPPENING....SATURDAY

Saturday ,wow this has been a week for the record books for a lot of people hasn't it? No electricity, water problems, sewer problems, heat problems. They have had it all. Such a bad time. Now they continue to say that the snow will start about noon today. I just can't believe that on top of everything else we have. I tell you it is going to have to be really, really bad for me not to be at the support meeting Monday night. Lol I finally got out to go for a walk yesterday. It was still cold but nothing like it has been. My dogs were thrilled that I came out and took them for a walk lol I just cant seem to stand any sort of cold at all now. It just cuts me to the bone. We worked some more on the trailer yesterday. Going to try and do some more to it before we go and get Renee. Hopefully we can find a friend that has a van that we can borrow and not have to rent that too to go get her in. One that has a trailer hitch so we could rent a trailer to put all of her stuff in and bring with her. Craig: I called her last doctor that she was in touch with today and everything she says is true. They are just afraid of her weight. The hospital in Columbia said that her weight was no problem so I guess that is where we will take her unless I can get her weight down by 100 pounds and she can see Dr. Hornbostel. Debbie M: Sweetie don't worry about me and my pain you worry about your surgery coming up. I will be fine. The Lord knows what he has me here for so I wont question why,when or how or anything else. Poor little Wyno. I guess she just doesn't know what is going on most of the time. Lol. And you teasing her by turning up the tv now that is just BAD. Shame on you Oh I am so glad that Jason called you and you are on good terms again. Is sad that he dropped college tho. Didn't he have a scholarship or something? Just hang in there about your diet in a few days you want want to eat anyway. I didn't have much problems after surgery with being hungry but my head kept telling me I was. Lol Funny what our brain will say. You have to reprogram your old tapes in the brain. Andrew: well one day you may get to serve on a jury. Don't you wonder why they don't pick you for those. Its like wow we don't want that one and we do want that one. Wonder what their reasons are. Yeah push the water and the protein both if you want to jump start the weight loss. It takes a lot of rearranging in our brain to get it thru our head that we have to eat more to lose more. When we have thought for years that we need to eat less so we could eat more. Like I said we need to reprogram our brains. Melissa: now that joke was really wild!!! So funny. I read it to Joe and he was rolling on the floor almost before it was finished. Hope the snow doesn't come tomorrow. Maybe we need to all stand outside with fans and blow it back to Texas and Ok. Oh I really want to see you on Monday. Sherr: don't worry about me . I will be ok. And if not you can come over and take care of me ok? Once I have the MRI on Tuesday I go back to see my PCP on the 29th and will let you all know immediately what she says . Im sure that all of this pain is coming from my shoulder or from the disc in my upper back. We will see. See I knew your mom is a lot younger than I am and dad is not much older. So they aren't really ancient. Lol Tony: Most guys are really good cooks if they apply themselves to it. Im sure your family loves your cooking . Have you changed the way you cook for them too? I have I only make low fat , no sugar things for Joe now too. And he is losing weight some too. Did you go check out the Y? would be a good thing for you and your family. Most of them have family rates . Lana: you know most restaurants that I have ask them about it will serve me off the kids menu if I want. Another good thing to look at is the appetizers but you have to be careful of those most of them are deep fried. Don't know why? But I just usally get a bowl of soup at most places. I know I can eat that and that it wont make me sick. Even buffets usually have soup and you can ask them if you can just buy a bowl of soup. Another deal here in Forsyth is the Chinese buffet. You can buy your meal at regular price or by the pound. We stopped the other day to get stuff to take home and Joes was like 6 dollars and something mine was 74 cents lol. So that was a deal.

LOL Jan....I'm gonna turn Wyno into an attack bird! Cool, I can't believe I'm first today, tonight, whatever you wanna call it! I was up letting my dogs out and thought I would drop in to see and sure enough...you've done been here and gone!...lol God's got my life under control right now so I'm free to pester others...lol Seriously tho, I lost my best friend of 18 years because of that "C" word. I knew that her mother had died young from breast cancer. Never did I think for a moment that my breast friend would so the same thing! She told me she had a lump, I asked if she had seen a Dr...she said no but that she was going to schedule an appointment. I trusted her to do that and I found out later that she didn't go until months later after she'd had a headache that wouldn't go away. That "C" word was now in her brain. I sat at her bedside day and night. I prayed with her, for her and her family. I watched as everyone we knew and some I didn't come to her bedside to say their goodbyes. After I officiated her memorial and kissed her four boys good bye, knowing I'd never get to see them again, living with their father. I swore that day that if I had it to do over....I never wouldn't of asked her if she had gone to the Dr, I would of taken her myself! It didn't hit me until it was all over, she hated going to the Dr! No matter what, she wouldn't go, not for herself anyway, she took her boys in for their checkups but never her! If, if, if....too late now!! So please don't push me away....let me at least pray for you....I won't pester you too much, I promise! I'll let you pray for me! My nose is running! I didn't want to take anything but for it but some reason it is! One nostril and now both. I'm thinking allergys, I'm not coughing, , the leakage is clear, I don't have a fever, feel fine, it's just my nose. I'm not taking any chances though. It better clear up fast, I don't want anything keeping me from this surgery. I hope everyones ready for this snow storm! Their saying it's gonna be the biggest of the season! I haven't been out since I got back from Sedalia last week. Looks like I'll be shut in for another!...lol I pray everyone has an AWESOME weekend...don't forget to go to Church! Good morning Missouri...... It has been a very busy week for me at work......We had well over 900 new recruits come through our clinic this week. That is alot of blood drawing and shot giving....Yesterday while we getting ready to draw another group of males blood a fight broke out in the hallway by two other new recruits......I tell you that was some excitement at least it broke up the routine of the day for a minute.....lol Hope everyone has had a good week.....Besides the business at work I have had a trying week with the weather.....my son was out of school all week so he stayed with my parents and on Thursday my dad called and said please come and get your son he is driving us nuts.....So I brought him home and had to have a talk with him.....he is here with me today and has to go to a birthday party at 2pm....so sometime this morning I need to make a trip to Wally World and get his friend a gift card....that is what he wants for his birthday....I also need to get a couple more things before our big storm hits.....My anniversary is Monday and I have not even got my hubby anything yet.....so I better think hard on what I can get him......He is one of the hardest to buy for..... Well I better get going because I have stuff to do here at the house also....need to figure out what we will have for supper tonight.... Okay, I will turn off my "stearn voice now"...lol Mel: The Chili was a hit w/ the family, but I can't seem to eat very much, my stomach can't handle much spice at all anymore...WTH is that about? LOL I make it like Wendy's and make it kinda "soupy" so that I can eat it, and everyone else likes it too. FYI: I went to IHOP w/ the parental units and they let me order off the kids menu.... Good Morning Everyone: Okay I can see by the board that everyone is getting ready for the snow. I dragged DH all over town yesterday getting stuff done. Then we went back over to my F-I-L's house. Cleaned off his steps & sidewalk & clean up inside. If this weather keep like this we wont be moved in until after winter. lol Nothing planned for the day but cleaning and straighten up my house. I am fixing to put on deer roast for super tonight. Everyone have a blessed day!!! Jan: I would rather have this snow then the ice that we got. I can at least get out in the snow. Sorry I made you spew your drink all over yesterday. Andrew: Glad to hear you enjoyed the joke also. Did I read right you saying that in March you might be at the meeting since it will be you check in time??? DebbieM: Just hang in there sweetie. Your day will be here before you know it!! Tony: I think it is great that you know how to cook. My DH know how to do a few things but not meals. Thats okay tho I am kind of my kitchen type of person anyway. Sherr: Is it every seasoning or just certain ones?? I couldnt do to many spices early on but not no problem. But remember yours is the coin purse (pouch) and my is the evening bag (pouch) How is your eating other wise?? Can you eat just about anything or are you still having troubles?? Well I need to get moving I got in 72oz of liquid in yesterday. I was so proud of myself. Over the Christmas holiday & New Years I got really bad dehydrated. So I am trying to push my liquid in take every day to at least 64oz. I can wait to see some of you on Monday. Wishing it was all of you I could see again and meet for the first time!!!! Heya's, Just thought I'd pop in and see whats going on today, not much going on here really. Susan got called into work early today so I been cleaning some house and doin some laundry, just call me Mr. Mom lol It's turning pretty cloudy out like its gonna start up soon with the snow, Im kinda hopin for a lil snow at least. Jan I know what ya mean about reprogramming our brains, I wish I could plug mine into a computer and reprogram it lol Lately I been feelin hungry for some reason, I know its prolly in my head, drinking more water helps that feelin go tho. Yesturday I got in 100 oz of water, Im not doin so good today so far, the day isnt over tho. Deb M. Melissa yup you read right, we are gonna try and come to springfield for the march meeting then head up to sedalia the next day for my doc appt. not sure if it will work out but we're sure gonna try.
