St Louis Mo Paying cah for RYN How much??

I have a friend who is looking into RYN in the St Louis Mo area, she will have to take out a loan or pay cash. Nay one know the cost? Dr's names ec ??? How much does New Start charge cash? I had WLS 4 years ago, I am now in a size 10, and happy & healthy. I started at a size 24. Ok can any one tell me the cash price?? Recommend a St Louis Dr.?? Thanks! Cyndi

cyndi i think the best thing to do would be to check with each hospital in St.Louis. My sister is going to DePaul and Dr. Del la toria or something like that. She hasnt had surgery yet but really likes the doctor. Jan

New Start charges 15K for Lapband (which is what I am most interested in) and 23K for RNY. All 3 New Start doctors have strong reputations in the St. Louis area. - Good luck to you and your friend. Anna in St. Louis

I had dr de la torre at depaul. I don't know the cost though because insurance paid for it. Patsy Beeson in the office can be reached at 314-344-6844. They have a tremendous program there. I am 2 months post op and down 42 lbs.

Cyndi, I had Dr. Valerie Halpin from Center for advanced medicine at Barnes/Washington University hospital. I am a nurse so I probably was more critical than a lay person would have been. I just loved her and the professional care and concern excelled my expectations. I had insurance pay part.... so you'd have to check on private .the number is 314-454-8877. Good luck to your friend.
