Sedalia Missouri?

Has anyone had wls surgery in Sedalia Missouri with Dr. Hornbostel? Any shared expierences would be great! I have my consult with him On Jan 24th, only 1 week away!!! My sister and I are going to him for the surgery. Let me hear from you'all Ginger2

I had surgery with him on Aug 14th of 06 and all i can say about him is that he is an excelent surgeon you wont be disapointed. He is very caring and a good Christian man. There are a lot of people on here that have used him for surgery and no one ever has a bad word to say about him or his staff that i know of. And the hospital at Sedalia altho it is small are a really good caring group of people. The nurses were right there for anything that might be needed and you would no sooner push the button for one of them then they would be right there. The whole experience between Dr. Hornbostel, Margie, Denna, the hospital all are super Number #1Jan

I had my surgery with Dr. Hornbostel on Nov. 14, 2006. I have to say that Jan hit the nail right on the head. My experience with Dr. H and Bothwell were excellent. The staff at Bothwell hospital treated with the utmost respect, even tho the hospital is small they really do give ya the care and respect you deserve. My experience with Dr. H and his staff is nothing short of excellent too. Any questions I ever had before surgery and after they were always more then glad to answer. Everytime I called their office and one of them was not available they called me back asap. Dr. H also gives you his personal cell phone # and home # after surgery, I dont think many doc's do that, he's been the best surgeon in my opinion, you sure wont be sorry. Andrew

Ohh yes he is A wonderful doctor, does things just like the others said, he good man and a good christian, that meant alot to me, his wife is just fantastic she is a nurse and is great asset to DR.H..you will be in my prayers....Vesta

Wow Virginia...that's a loaded question...lol Seriously tho, I think the majority of folks here have Dr. H as their surgeon. I am scheduled to have the surgery Jan. 26th. What I have seen and heard on here, at Dr. H's office and the hospital I'm right where I need to be! Good Luck and keep us updated.....we support each other and prayer each other through...Deb M

Deb, Thanks so much for your reply. When did you have your consult date? Mine is the 24 of this month. I can't wait. My sister and I are going to have the surgery, She has decided on the lap band, but I am waiting to talk with Dr. H before I make up my mind. Hey, Virginia, I am having lap RNY with Dr. H. at Bothwell on April 2nd. I used to work at Bothwell and would not choose any other Dr or hospital to have this done at. I have had surgeries many places but this is the best in my opinion for WLS. I wish you the best. Julia

Julia, Thanks for your reply. I am glad to hear that you had worked at Bothwell hospital. I am an LPN and when you have worked somewhere and still reccomend it, that says a lot. When was your consult date? Mine is Jan 24th, just wondering how long it will be for my surgery date.
