WHATS HAPPENING-----TUESDAY

Hey hey Deb, That sounds alot like what I went through before surgery. I knew I had to lose some weight cuz of bothwells weight limit so I kind of went on the protein liquad diet for a month and boy did I go through withdrawls, yikes!!! For the first week I felt sick and acky and had the most awful headache, I also went off caffiene too, that was a big part of the being sick but still going from 3 - 4000 calories to 1000 like your doing puts a shock to the body but in the long run it will be well worth it, any fat that is gathered on your liver will pretty much go away so that Dr. H can do the surgery so much better. Thats why i did so good after surgery and others too that have done so good. Hang in there gurl, 10 days and you'll be on that losers bench. Bless ya!! Andrew

Hidy Ho Jan It was good to talk to you yesterday. I still havent heard nothing from Wayne or David. I will try and give them a call later tonight. Were getting ready to go out and run some errands. This should be fun our road is still covered with ice. But them main roads are pretty good so I have heard. Getting bundled up to brave this weather. DH is across the street helping the neighbor clear off his car. You know with that sun shining you would think it was nice out from inside the house. But the minute you step outside it gets ya. BBBbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr Going to go check on neighbors and friends. And do grocery errands for those that cant get out. I pray everyone is doing good here on the board. God Bless Melissa

Hey Mo folks! Ahhhhh, so good to be able to get on here!! I've not had internet for a few days now at home. But that's the least of the concerns. Power is out too and not looking to get it back soon. Luckily my dad offered us a generator, so last night we drove to Jeff City to get it. We met half way, as he's in NE MO. So 4 hr round trip for some HEAT! : ) It was worth it!!! Had to farm my kids out to friends so they weren't frozen yesterday/last night. But tonight will be a better night. Plus they went back to school today and I went back to work so we were all WARM for the day! : ) We still have ho****er to shower and have cocoa but can't cook even with our bbq. Cause of the cold it woudn't get over 200degrees last night when I tried to cook chicken breast! lol So off to Taco Bell we went. I looked awful from not have power(thus no blow dryer for ME!) so Taco Bell was the fanciest place I would venture into! lol This morning though I had the blessing of a generator, dried my hair and went to work. We are in a town where we are one of the FEW who are without power. And the place it went down is on our property!! A tree from across the alley fell over the power line over our fence. It's just dangling there. Things could be so much worse though...I have several co-workers worse off than me so I'm counting my blessings for sure. Hoping to get a work-out in tonight too since our last minute trip last night, took the place of our workout. Everyone take care, stay warm, and count your blessings!!! Hugs, Tami

Hello everyone, Well, I decided last nite on the way home from work to cut back on the gravel road to get home because It would abe easier to get home. Took it in the morning and it was a snap. Well, I did not think about it raining and freezing more and it was dark. The first 2 1/2 miles were a snap and just 1/2 mile from home I decided to do 3 wheelies and go in the ditch. It happened so fast, and I went for the ride and ended up in the ditch. I called my hubby and said, Look out the window in the livingroom and those flashing lights are me. Please dont come out as it is a sheet of ice. Just call the local wrecker and have them come tow me. So 40 minutes later I got towed out of ditch - not a scratch on the car and I was safe. Praise the Lord!! Just a little scary. I hope everyone is staying safe. Just want to say that everyones new pictures are great. Such a good looking group of people. As you can tell, I lost all my looks. tried to put a new picture on and lost it. Gracious Sher has offered for me to send it to her, and she will shrink it. She doesnt know how illeterate I am. I dont know how to send pictures. I use photobucket and it does shrink pictures to postage stamp size but I cant for some reason get it posted on here. I will try again after I finish here.
