WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY
Wasn't yesterday a mess. I feel so sorry for the people that have been without electricity for a couple of days now. I don't know what they are really doing. I wonder how long it will be before all of the electricity is restored. They are saying several weeks. That is a long time to be without.
My son and his wife that live in Republic have been without since Friday and so has my nephew and his family
Son and family is staying with her mother. And nephew is staying with his mother. I have offered my guest house to some of them but they all say it is too far out of town.
So far we have had nothing but rain down here where I live. We have had over 3 inches of rain according to my rain guage and it continues on and on. Hopefully all of this will move on out of the area tomorrow. Pretty bad stuff.
Julia: thanks for the compliment about the new picture. It really isn't too good of a picture but oh well .
Yeah I would like to get a big group of us together to go to the Diamond Crater State Park . There is a beautiful motel in Muffersboro. Wouldn't that be fun.
Andrew: great new picture. You can see by your face that you have lost quite a lot compared to the original picture. Way to go guy. So you did the picture with your web cam? I want to get one of those soon.
I am glad that Susan is feeling better. They still haven't run test to make sure what it is?
Great going on the exercise. That is so good.
Sherr: Yeah I know where Paragould is. Lived in Jonesboro for a few years a few years ago. That is good that the circuit city is reimbursing you the money he spent on his truck
Your son is getting very tall isn't he? Does he play basketball or any sport? Maybe he can become a pro in basket ball and make lots of money and take care of mama.
Thanks for the info to everyone on how to put in their picture. I don't have any problem installing it just cant figure out how to resize it . So thank you for resizing my picture.
Marilyn: thanks for the compliment and purple is my favorite color so I wear a lot of it really.
Hope you are feeling well and still have elect.
The place in Arkansas is the Diamond Crater State Park.
Wonder how many would really like to go if I set a date in the late spring? If so we could all make reservations at the motel close by and go that would be so much fun.
Tell your son that im with him that rocks are great treasures. I love them too .
Collette: Im really glad that you all didn't head toward Pa. too all of this could have been really bad and got stranded on the road and all.
Sorry Mel isn't feeling well again.
Hey that is neat that you can get into Mels pants. Lol
That is fantastic that you and Tony are going to try and start a support group in Blue Springs. People starting up support meetings almost everywhere. That is so great.
Vesta: how is the gas? Better I hope by now.
Thanks for the compliment .
Actually a blood clot can form for up to a couple of months later I think. But as long as you get up and move around every 30 minutes or so your chances go way down on getting one.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS
JAN
Hi Jan, That would be fun to have a group going to dig in the dirt for diamonds. Especially since they have other things there too. I just got a call a little while ago from my sister. I let her use one of my cell phones and someone stole it!!
I am mad. I called the sheriffs dept and filed a complaint. Called the phone co and got a recording to file it stolen , but when I called to see if it was shut off it was still on and the person had the nerve to answer!!!!
But hung up. I also texted him and told him I called the police and the phone was mine. I know where he works. But the phone is still on and I can't talk to a real person at the phone compnay till 7am.If there wasn't ice on the roads I would probally be in jail now I am so mad, but I bet Iwould have my phone. My son-in-law works there so I know he will check it out for me when he can. Well I have complained enough. Hope the weather gets better for us all. Julia

Good Morning Ya'll
Praise the Lord some of us have escaped the bad ice. Down here where I live we've just had a ton of rain. Our road was about flooded out for a bit during some of the heavy rain but i'd rather have the rain then all the ice. I guess it will be awhile before it all dries out tho, silly winter sheesh lol.
Jan thanks for the compliment on my pic, I really dont see it but guess there is a slight change. Yeah I did that with my webcam, I've had that for about 3 years and hardly ues it, it cam with my puter when I bought it. It was kind of hard to downsize my pic cuz it kept stretching out where I looked even fater lol. If you go to buy one, you can get them at walmart pretty cheap, $20 - $30 I believe. Susan is feeling better, the doctor said he would wait until march to do any testing, I dunno why so long but guess he knows what he's doing. I kind of figure because she has no insurance or something.
It's great to see the new losers are doing well. I hope all the gas they are experiencing goes away. I remember when I had the gas, ouchie, even tho after I left the hospital I didnt have more, thank the Lord. I see a couple of them are hungry already, I remember the smell of food at first didnt bother me at all, in fact some smells made me sorta naustious (sp) Im beginning now to have some hunger but I know it's mostly all in my head. You newbies, Gretta, Marilyn, Vesta and all the others, you all hang in there, once your a couple weeks out it'll get better.
Colette that is great you and Tony are gonna try and start a support group. They are so needed in places here. Our first support group down here went well, you both will do well with it.
Well Im gonna get ready to head to the gym, we like going early so we can get our day started. Hope everyone has a safe warm day.
Hugs and Prayers
Andrew

Hey you guys, just an Arkie butting in. But, if you guys do come down this way, plan it so a bunch of us Arkies and maybe some of the Texans can join up and we'll have a nice little get together. You all can meet some of us and we can meet you guys an those Texans can come see how the folks from God's country live. What do y'all say?
Reporting in from Dixon, Mo.
We have some pretty severe ice damage here in Dixon. Several homes are still without power. We lost power on several occasions but the men from Gascosage Elect. Coop have been PHENOMENAL. I cannot say enough good things about them.
Temps are beyond frigid and it doesn't look like it is going to be warming up anytime soon.... We have lost several trees and our neighbors tree took out part of our fence (just glad that it didn't hit the house!).... one of our english walnuts lost the entire top half of it's structure last night. About scared the bejeebies out of me when it went. Just brushed the side of the house and raised deck when it fell. SO glad that it didn't hit the windows or take down the 20 ft. raised deck. WHEW....
Mike and I are going to be going out shortly to survey the rest of our property. We are going to have to be very careful as branches are still coming down as I type.
Everyone please be careful out there... and check on your neighbors to make sure that everyone is ok....

I myself as health wise is doin fine,Still having trouble of trying to eat anything tho.My wife gets soo frustrating with me cause im not eating like im supposed to.But nothing sounds good to me on this second stage, except my protien drinks and maybe a lil cottage cheese,i'll go three or four days without,Then i'll try a few bites of soup and thats it.But other than that im feeling ok.I think iv'e lost a few more pounds 46 a couple of weeks ago,So im thinking by now im down at least 50 or more.I know i've heard of people of loosing 80 in a month wished that were me lol.Well,Im off to do a lil walk on the tredmill.Take care you guys and be very careful out there in this crazy weather,Its very icy out there.Godbless you all!! Tony
Hi Jan and all. Well, I've been offline for a few days but I am back. We were without electricity from Sat. am until Sunday evening. Our neighbor has a generator that he let us plug a few things into so it wasn't too bad. It was starting to get a little cold when it came back on though. Wasn't that wonderful news about those two boys being recovered? They were actually found about 15 miles from where I live. I can't believe he actually managed to hide in plain sight. What a sick individual. I am so elated for the families but I know the boys, especially Shawn, have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Please don't forget to keep them in your prayers. Well, I just wanted to check in and say hi and let you know I am still kicking.
