WHATS HAPPENING. POSTED A COUPLE OF HOURS EARLY.

Is it Sunday? I have been so confused about the date and day for the last few days. Don't know why though. Weird huh? Wow the ice storm is really bad. So far we have had none. Our Electric is on and no problems. Any of you that don't have a place to go come on down. I have the trailer that will hold at least 6 with an air mattress. And also we can put an air mattress on the floor in the dining room in my house and the couch will hold someone and I have a huge chair that is big enough for a bed too. Lol Really is anyone needs a place to stay call me. I may be in the boonies but it is warm boonies. We got home from Fayetteville yesterday afternoon, a little earlier than we had planned on coming home but was afraid of getting caught away from home in bad weather. We had a wonderful time. Brought back some really neat rocks from the diamond minds. Am looking forward to going back in the spring. Will be a great place to go and spend all day. For only 6.50 per person that is good all day. They stamp your arm and you are allowed to go in and out of the mining area all you want for that one day. It is a state park so there are nature trails, camping, and lots of pretty scenery to look at and even a small water park. Well tomorrow I will have to get the house back in order. Put away all the stuff that I need to and get the laundry done. Sherr, thanks for helping me get the picture sized down to the size they want it to be. Thanks. Julia: thank you so very much for taking care of all of the surgery patients. You are great to do it. So glad that we had 3 good surgeries this week, aren't you? Boy I would hate to think of moving again. I know it isn't my favorite thing to do and probably isn't yours either. But good luck with it. Debbie: sounds like your trip just wasn't all you wanted it to be at all. Sorry that you wasn't happy with the Best Western. You should defiantly report your treatment to the central office. The last time we were there they put us on the outside when we had requested pool view and I made them change us to the inside at least even though they said they had no pool views. We were on the inside anyway. Hope the weather is doing ok for you .and will pray that you have good weather on the 26 to get to Sedalia. I don't remember them removing the ng tube from me at all. So don't worry about it please. It will be gone by the time you really come too good. Marilyn: great to see you on line and feeling well enough to be cooking for family. Maybe you need to post the recipe for the sour cream chicken Huh? How about it. Diana: How is the job hunt going? Yes it is really fantastic that they found the 13 year old boy and that he was with another boy that was missing for 4 years is totally amazing. I sure hope that he can get over all that he has been thru and can get his minds straightened out and be a good person for society Sorry about your trip to St. Louis being canceled. That just isn't fair is it? Sorry about not finding you that big diamond maybe I will find it the next time. Sherr: don't worry about your hair falling out , it might or might not but just remember it will grow back and to be bald is better than being fat. And we can always wear wigs if it doesn't. but you cant put on anything to hide the fat. Thanks again for resizing my picture. I may change it out not really sure I like that one. Melissa: Sorry you are getting such bad weather too girl. As long as you don't lose power it isn't all bad. Will keep you and everyone else in my prayers tonight. Sugar in Clever the last time I talked to her this afternoon , she still had power but was losing trees all around her house. Good Morning Missourians, Boy we're getting some weather alright, Praise the Lord us down here havnt had any of the ice yet, we're sure praying we dont get none of that, we had enough back nov. when we lost power. Jan I love the new pic, now THATS the Jan I met a few weeks ago, looks like you've lost more weight since then. I guess I better get busy and get a new pic too, Sherr was after me for a new one a couple weeks ago, I'll get my webcam hooked up and see what I can do today when I get home from church, if i can remember how to change the icon pic on here LoL. Susan seems to be feeling a bit better. She's eating just bland food and maybe the exersise we're doing is helping. The pain is still there on her side but it's not as bad as it has been. We're still believing for a total healing, we know God can do it. Our exersise program seems to be going really well, boy we both come home wore out and soar the next day but thats a good thing. Hopefully this will help get my metabolism going again, Im kind of at a lull at the moment, I havnt weighed tho since I started this. Their scale at the gym only goes up to 350lbs so I'll weigh next time we go see the FIL. I cant wait to get down enough to weigh on regular scales, even my PCP's scale only goes up to 350lb. Jan sounds like ya'll had a good time, i've always wanted to go to the diamond mines but never made it there, maybe one day we'll go check em out. Sunday is here, and MORE RAIN... Mom and I are supposed to go to Jonesboro, AR tomorrow and I dread the drive. There is one low spot in Paragould, (((town you have to go thru to get there))) that floods all the time. My teenager worked all summer to save up for his truck's stereo system, and we had Circuit City install it. It was a total nightmare. Eight trips there, burnt wires, smoke, a new truck battery, on and on....Well, I wrote their corporate offices about the whole mess and they are going to refund all the money involved. Even the cost of 8 trips to Jonesboro, which will be a total refund of about $800!! So, I have to the Jonesboro Circuit City tomorrow to get the check. Woot Woot. And my big baby needs some more clothes, I wonder if he will ever stop growing. He's 6'5.5" already. Stay warm and safe!!

Good Sunday morning all . . . Jan - your new picture looks great! I love that color on you. We have been blessed to have or electric stay on also. It has been very cold out, I let my son go out for short times to play then back in to warm up. I made him and Dad homemade hot cocoa yesterday after they had been out scraping ice off the porch and steps. I developed this sore lump on my left arm last night and it is very tender. I worried about it all night possibly being a blood clot. I looked on line this morning for some info and it just scared me more so I called Dr. Hornbostel at home. Margie answered and I was so thankful I called. She reassured me that it was probably just fuild build up since I had my IV in that arm. She said to keep the arm elevated and to apply a warm heating pad. So, I am doing that. My biggest problem is that when something happens that I don't expect or understand I freak out. I get scared that it is something serious. I know I shouldn't over react. God has been so faithful to my through all this I know he will see me through without serious effects! Jan - What was the name of the place that you went in Arkansas? That sounds like something my son would love. He finds rocks all the time and keeps them just like treasures. Kat - sorry you were without power I hope today brings you back on the grid and you are keeping warm! Julia - I'll be praying that you will find the perfect place to move to and also that you get a quick date! Sherr - your new pic looks great! Vesta - sorry you have had so much gas pain. Just keep trying to walk as much as you can. I have been able to do my 30 minutes each day on the treadmill and it has helped tremendously. Drink plenty of water along with your broth and other liquids. Hope you all have a blessed Sunday. Our church was cancelled today so we are going to read the Bible together here in a bit. Good morning everyone, I was watching television this am as our church was cancelled today due to the ice and bad weather. We go to a little church and a lot of older people and they did not want someone to fall. I would be there by now. Looks like Springfield got hit hard with ice and it shows trees coated. Hope everyone in that area is ok. Stay warm my friends. Here we have about 1 1/2 inch of ice on the roads.They are predicting snow and ice to start again today. As for me we are staying in and we will enjoy our bean soup.and the warmth and hope it stays warms here. Your new pictures are great. Not sure I know how to put one on. I put mine on under the old system. But I will try. I had a big wow moment. I have been needing some blue jeans and decided to try some of my husbands that are on a shelf in the closet which he cannot wear. Wow!! I got into a size 34. And they sure make me look slim!!!! LOL We are glad we did not head to Pa. for the funeral. Mostly we did not go because of my husbands health, but now a lot of flights are cancelled in Kansas City and I sure would be worried to be on the roads. I know now God guided us the right way. Really hated to miss, but my husband has been sick since Christmas. Got him some more medicine and he has to go back next week. It would be different if it was 2 or 3 hours away, but it is 15hours and if we flew it would be sitting in the airport trying to get back. Yes, we are trying to get a support group started in Blue Springs area. Tony and I are going to try to head it up. Actually he only lives 45 minutes from me. So I am praying we can do it. Good morning all, Jan I love your picture, Marilyn I had a big bruise and knot in it to ,the knot is gone now but stil bruised, same arm also... I am feeling better the gas x did it for me..I walked 20 min at wal-mart this morning, I didnt go to church yet because we need to keep our feet elavated.how long do we need to watch ourselves so much, guess DR H. will tell me tues.. tks again for everyones prayers..love ya all.....vesta

VESTA, I am soooo proud of you and Marilyn & Gretta!!! What a week it's been for you guys....And to know yo u went to Wal=mart and walked...YOU GO GRRL! I had to go to Wal-mart 4 days after surgery, but it's because my feet were freezing to death, and I needed socks! I was staying in Columbia for that week before you have a follow up and I 'd only packed one pair. The day I'd gotten up to have surgery it was like 86, so who know, I'd feel like I was freezing after post op... My trip to wal-mart just about knocked me out, so you are very brave Keep up the good work. Sherr

Enter your user name & password 3.) Click on "View Your New Profile 4.) IMPORTANT*** Look under your "USER NAME" see where it says "CUSTOMIZE PROFILE" click on that 5.) In the "Profile Control Panel" click on "CHANGE MY AVATAR" it's under "Profile" 6.) You will click on "BROWSE" and find the file you want that contains your photo...IF it's much bigger than a postage stamp it will be too big. ****I just open the pic I want in PAINT program, shrink it down and save it. 7.)
