Needing a Support leader in BlueSprings

Hello my friends,I was just wondering if we have someone on here who wants to lead us in a support group in the BlueSprings area.I heard there are rooms at the ST.Marys hospital that are free for the public.I know there are a few of us on here that are in need for a support group leader here.If there is one please reply.Thankyou Tony

Hi Tony, Nice to see you. I don't know of anyone but would be interested if you find one. I have friends in that area that might want to attend. Also when the weather gets nice and I start visiting again I would like to attend. I am hoping to one day go to Springfield also. They have a great group. Good Luck. Leader I'm not really comfortable with, but I live close to St. Mary's and will find out about the meeting rooms. It may have to wait until Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday. I will research this and get back with the info. Janet

Tony, I would be willing to be a leader of the group at St. Marys. That is as close for me as Sedalia, and I actually like going to BS better. I am a registered nurse and with all of your help I would be willing to try. If someone can check on the availability of the rooms, we could have a get together and form our support group. We would be a non hospital based support group. I will be watching I am 14 months post-op and together we can support each other. We can also ask Claudette for any help and also Brenda. Colette

Thats just awsome,You would be a Saint to a lot of people here around the BlueSprings area who are in need for a Support leader.I say lets do it. Jan is goin to check ST. I am honored to try to be the leader. But I dont want to go into Kansas City area and drive myself. What even about the buckner area. Would there be a church there. I used to be a home health nurse and came to that area. There is always Odessa area too and Grain Vallery. I think we should keep it around BS area or buckner as that is sorta central for a wide area for people to come. Let me know of any ideas. I will help as much as I can. Colette

I am so glad to see that you all are trying to get a support group started up in the Blue Springs area. Wonderful , Maybe in the spring of the year. a load of you can come down to Springfield to one of our meetings. Jan
